Teaching content：

Grade 5

Unit 5 On the beach lesson 1 Teaching goals: At the end of the class: 1. All students should be able to listen, speak, and read: beach, have a great time, fly a kite, ride a horse/ride horses, listen to music, play football, collect shells, swim in the sea, fish, ride a jet-ski.

Some students can listen, speak, read: snorkel, have a sunbath, surf, play sand volleyball.

2.All students can listen and match quickly and correctly.

3, Students can describe the pictures and write it down into a passage. 4. Students feel very interested in having some fun on the beach with friends.

Step 1 Pre-listening 1.出示我在海滩的照片。

问Where am I？

2.出示海滩图。

What can we see on the beach? What can we do on the beach? 3. ppt 呈现几种活动，突破几处需注意的语言点。

What are they doing?

What is he/she doing? Is she/he happy?

Are they happy

4. look and say more sentences. 呈现一个海滩场景，让生尽可能多说一些句子来描绘这场景。

5.出示课本人物及图片，创设情境看图说话。

look at this picture。

Where are they? /What date is it today? /What are they doing?

引导读图

激发想象力，并激活相关的语言知识。

听说读：ride a jet-ski 正确使用fly a kite / fly kites. ride a horse / ride horses. have a great time.

引导描述图片：时间，地点，活动。

鼓励尽量多说几个句子，为构建语篇做铺垫。

引导鼓励按一定的语篇结构来描述图片。

注意描述图片的基本要素: 时间，地点，活动。

在应用中进一步熟练掌握活动短语及现在进行时，在表达中形成语篇意识，为writing做Step 2

After-listening. 1. Talk about another picture. 2. What else can we do on the beach?

1.Watch a video.

2.Choose one from four videos on ipad to watch and learn by themselves(Youdao).

3. After 3 minute's learning, students share their videos to others.

4. Play a matching game on ipad.

3.Groupwork（writing）

四人一组，每组选择一个最想去的地方的海滩，每个人选自己最喜欢的活动（脱拽活动图片到场景里）组成一幅画，并写成文段，然后选一个代表介绍这幅场景图。

进一步练习语篇描述画面。

扩充一些关于海滩的活动: have a sunbath, surf, snorkel, play sand volleyball. 教给孩子们一些自学的方法。

充分尊重学习的自主和个体性。

利用平板实现学习的个性互动，增强课堂的趣味性，让学生乐享课堂。

在情境中进行图片描述，激发他们的表达欲望，检测学习成果。
