Ⅰ. Teaching Objectives 1. Knowledge and ability aims: Students will be able to listen,speak,read and write : Are there any ...? Yes, there are. /No, there aren’t.

2. Process and method aims: Students will be able to use the sentences in similar situations, and develop their ability of cooperation. 3. Emotion, attitude and value aims: At the end of the class, students will obtain the awareness of protecting their own homeland, and learn to love their village. Ⅱ. Teaching keys and difficulties

1. Teaching keys: To master the sentences “Are there any...?

Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.”

2. Teaching difficulties:The usage of “any” in question sentences. And use the sentences in real situations. Ⅲ. Teaching methods In this class, I will mainly use task-based teaching method, communicative teaching method and cooperative study to make my class more interesting. Ⅳ. Teaching tools PPT, some pictures and a computer. Ⅴ. Teaching procedures

Step 1. Warm-up :

(1) Greetings. (2) Free talk : to review the words they have learned and arouse their interest.

(3) Divide groups : village group and city group.

Then each group will select one student to the blackboard and show their pictures . Other students read in. e.g. There are many houses in the village.There are many buildings in the city. There are many roads in the city.

There are many flowers in the village. Q: Which is more beautiful? Do you like your village? What's in your village? Step 2. Presentation :

(1) Let’s try : Listen and circle : Where are the tables?

(2) Let’s talk : A. Watch the video: Listen and read.

B. Speak and say : Is the nature park quiet? Are there any tall buildings in the park? Are there any animals s in the park? What animals? C. Role-play : pair work & group work Step 3. Practice :

(1) Fill in the blanks : complete the dialogue.

(2) Make conversations by using :

----Are there any... in the nature park?

----Yes, there are./ No, there aren’t.
