Step1. Warming up. Greeting Good afternoon! Let’s let’s learn how to tell others which month and what day. And of course, let’s learn how to do it using English. Step 2. New Concepts. 1.The teacher holds up cards with numbers, then the teacher say ”January” and write “January” on the blackboard.

Ss read this word. (变换各种方式来读) In the same way, interview the words: February March April May June July August September October November December Listen and read(Part1) Ask: Whose birthday is in January? Ss answer. Put the 12 month flash cards in different places in the classroom. Tell the students to find the flash card for their birth month and stand beside that flash card.；

Ask：What’s your favourite month ? My favourit month is ____. 2.

Let’s sing a song.

Play the Twelve Months song once and listen tto it for pleasure. Play it a second time, now point to the months. Read it aloud again. (拿卡片）

本课主要学习月份的单词，以及与月份有关的一首歌曲，要求学生掌握所学知识并能灵活的运用到实际生活当中。月份虽然是新学词汇，但孩子对这些词汇并不陌生，所以在出示新词汇时，孩子的积极性就被调动了起来。学生有了一定的热情，在接下来的活动中，孩子们全身心的投入。比赛，上台展示，给了学生展示的机会，同时也练习了所学内容。歌曲部分由读—做—唱循序渐进练习了歌曲，学会了演唱歌曲，表现的淋漓尽致，使学生的感官更明了，内容更清晰。课中游戏的加入不仅练习了所学内容，同时也激发了学生学习英语的热情。

当然本节课也存在一些有待改进和完善的地方。新单词环节，虽然孩子对这几个单词不陌生，教师示范也不能太少，练习也应该充分。在小组的活动环节，应多找几组进行练习，多对孩子进行鼓励，孩子们会更好。
