【教材简析】

Oxford English 4B Module3 Unit2 At home （The first period）

【设计理念】

新的课程标准强调关注学生情感，在英语教学中融入知识、趣味，结合时间的话题，为学生提供充分的思维空间，不断地激发并强化学生兴趣。鼓励学生认真思考、积极表达，提高学生的思维能力和语言表达能力。

【教学目标】

1、

知识目标：

（1）Learn new words and phrases: quarter. past. half. get up. brush...teeth. wash...face.have breakfast/lunch/dinner. （2）能用句型What time is it? It's...询问时间并问答。以及What time do you...? I...at...来描述不同时间段所做的事情。

2、能力目标：通过一系列任务活动，培养学生主动思维、自主探究、交流合作的学习能力。

3、情感目标：结合实际生活，创设真实的情境，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生的学习积极性和主动性，培养学生的团队精神。

【教学重点、难点】

1.教学重点：学习重点句型：What time do you...? I...at...以及重点词汇和短语：quarter. get up. brush...teeth. wash...face.have breakfast/lunch/dinner. 2.教学难点：（1）如何能让学生在真实得情境中自如的运用这些句型。（2）时间表达法。

【教学过程】

Step One: Warming-up First: Free talk between the teacher and students. Next: Guess a riddle.引出钟表，手表

Then: Enjoy a video “Cuckoo Clock”(让学生回答通过观看动画，他们都看到了什么？从而引出钟表和手表，进而引出时间的表达。) Step Two: Presentation T:From the song, we know that the clock and the watch can tell us the time. Now look, what’s this? S:It’s a clock. T:What time is it?

 S:It’s six o’clock.(拓展其他整点钟让学生举手回答) 教师和学生一起总结整点时间表达法：… o’clock.

（2）T:A clock is a circle. I cut it from the middle. Now it is half of a circle. Guess ‘half’ what’s meaning?（教师手里拿一张长方形纸，然后从中间对折）

S:一半。（通过实践操作让学生真正理解单词的含义。）

Then show some pictures about “a half of …”进一步理解half 的含义。

（show a clock）7:30 T:What time is it? S:七点半

T:We can translate “七点过了一半”， we can express “half past seven”

（接下来教师引导学生学习半点表达法。然后拓展其他半点钟。最后总结半点钟时间表达法：half past ….）

（3）Show half of a clock, then cut it from the middle, now it is a quarter of a clock. (同样的方法学习quarter。然后引出半小时以内时间表达法。几点过了几分，过了：past.进而总结出半小时内时间表达法：分钟 past 小时。)

（4）(教师引导学生学习半小时以外时间表达法。离几点还差几分，差：to. 进而总结出半小时以外时间表达法：所缺分钟 to 下一小时。) （5）Show some pictures to learn the phrases. And try to use the sentence‘I … at ….’ to describe. Then say a chant together 2 times.(clap hands) get up 是起床，go to school 去学校。

wash face 是洗脸，brush teeth 是刷牙。

have breakfast 吃早饭，have lunch 吃午饭，

have dinner 吃晚餐。

Step Three: Practice 1、

Look at the picture and the clock, answer the questions. Then try to use the sentence I … at … to express your day. （考察学生的识图能力和认表能力）

What time is it? What time is it? Where are Kitty and her mum? What does Kitty do? What does Kitty do? （通过询问Kitty 几点干什么让学生学会如何描述别人的一天，进而学习课文。）

Step Three: Consolidation 1、Role play.

（小组合作表演剧情。）

Play 1 Mum: Get up, Ben. Ben: What time is it? Mum: It's half past seven. Mum: We are late, Ben. Ben: What time is it?

Mum: It's half past eight. Mum: Come and eat, Ben. Ben: What time is it? Mum: It's one o'clock. Mum: Go to bed, Ben. Ben: What time is it? Mum: It's half past ten. Play 2 Mum: Get up, Kitty. Kitty: What time is it? Mum: It's seven o'clock. Mum: Get up, Kitty. Kitty: What time is it? Mum: It's half past seven. Mum: Get up, Kitty. Kitty: What time is it? Mum: It's eight o'clock.

Kitty: Oh my god I'm late. Mum: Have some bread and milk please. Kitty: Thank you, Mum. 2、Assessment（课堂检测）
