学生能够听懂、学会、认读并书写下列词汇：

people, many, child, women, men 2. 学生能够认读、理解并运用下列问句：

（一）教学重点：学生能掌握理解下列单词的单复数形式：child/childre, man/men, woman/women，学习复数名词的不规则变化，巩固和扩充学生的词汇，复习现在进行时。

（二）教学难点：

（1）正确使用主语是复数的现在进行时。

（2）复数名词不规则变化的应用。

一、Warming up 1. Greetings: Say Hello to the students. 2. Revision 二、Presentation Step 1. Learn the new word: people, many, child, women, men （1）Show pictures to learn the new words （2） Check the words: Let the students to read the words. Step 2. Listen to the text. Step 3. Deal with the dialogue in groups. （1） Let the students to solve the questions they have prepared in groups. （2） Sort out the questions they can’t solve.

Step 4. Deal with the dialogue in class. （1）Let the students show the questions and the difficulties they can’t solve. （2）Solve these questions and difficulties together. （3）The teacher has something to add. （4）名词变复数规则：

（1）

一般名词复数是在名词后面加上“s”，如map-maps。

（2）

以s，sh，ch，x等结尾的词加“es”，如bus-buses，watch-watches，dish-dishes,box-boxes. （3）

以辅音字母＋y结尾的词，变y为i加es，如baby-babies. （4）

以o 结尾的名词变复数时有生命的加“es” ,potato-potatoes tomato-tomatoes.无生命的加“s” photo-photos. （5）

本课内容并不难，原本设计的情节很丰富，可是却因为想要在一定的时间之内完成，导致整节课机械化，在今后的教学当中，我一定会避免类似的状况出现，努力提高自己的教学能力。
