学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇：January，February，March，April，May，June，July，August，September，October，November，December. （二）技能目标：

1.学生能听懂并运用下列句子：

What’s your favourite month?

Whose birthday is in …？

2.学生能唱歌曲Twelve Months。

（三）情感态度与价值观：

根据小学生的特点，引导他们在宽松和谐的气氛中学习英语，调动他们学习的积极性、主动性，发挥创造性。

Step 1.Warming-up

Greeting:

T: Hello! I am your new teacher. You can call me Ms. Huang. What’s your name?

Ss: My name is _____. How are you? T: Fine, thanks. How are you? Ss: Fine, thank you! T: Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too. 2.Review 1

OK! Boys and girls. Let’s say the numbers from one(first)to twelve(twelfth). 学生男女歌谣式轮读：One, one, first, first; Tow, tow, second, second…Twelve, twelve, twelfth, twelfth.

【设计意图】从学生已掌握的语言技能出发，营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围，通过歌谣的形式复习基数词和序数词，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动他们的积极性。

3.Lesson hook 你们知道一年有多少个月吗？（生答）Yes! There are twelve months in a year. Now, let’s Learn months of the year.（板书课题）领生学读months(on---mon---months). 【设计意图】通过问题引入课题，激发学生的求知欲。

Step2.New concepts 1.创设情境，看图学文。（课件呈现）

This is a calendar.Let’s learn twelve months of the year.Look!

What’s month? It’s January .以此种形式教学12个月份。

（学生跟录音读后教师出示单词卡练习并贴在黑板上）

探究发现。

让学生读单词，观察寻找不同: These words begin with a capital letter. ②January looks like February. 【设计意图】面向全体学生，发挥多媒体辅助教学功能，创设情境来学习英语单词，让学生边读边看，边看边想，极大地调动学生的感官。多样化操练单词，能充分发挥他们的模仿能力，锻炼他们的胆量，让他们自己在学习中发现不同，探寻规律，掌握学习方法。

问答式学句型。

①师生问答：教师走到一个学生面前说

My favourite month is October .What’s your favourite month?

尽可能多地询问学生。My favourite month is October . Because my birthday is in October. Whose birthday is in October？

以此问题进行问答游戏，生举手或起立或招手或摇臂。

②生生问答：课本Let’s do it. Group work. Ask and answer.

让学生（同桌或前后桌）两人相互提问并回答。

【设计意图】通过月份，让学生回忆节日单词，接着引导学生回答问题，以多样化形式进行问答练习，一步步学习、掌握语言的运用。使学生在课堂中不断体验成功，感受乐趣，树立自信心。

Step3. Let’s sing.

Okay, boys and girls. Let’s learn a new song. It will help you really remember twelve months. First time---listen. Second time---follow. 教师播放歌曲，学生听两遍录音，然后跟录音唱三遍，最后演唱。

【设计意图】：通过歌曲学习，培养学生的英语听、唱技能，愉悦他们的心情，也训练了他们的乐感。

Step4. Practice

知识介绍------12个月份的全写及缩写（课件呈现）。

学生观察，发现规律；教师限时，学生快速默记。

2.连线搭配------12个月份的全写及缩写（课件呈现）。

学生开火车式进行，全班订正交流完成。

【设计意图】：通过此项活动培养学生的观察、归纳和快速记忆能力。

教师引导学生看板书说说今天的收获。

Step6. Homework （课件呈现）。

1.Read the new words that we learnt.（朗读新学单词）
