教材分析

本课选自冀教版小学英语五年级下册第二单元第四课。本单元学生已经了解

到小主人公到达北京，并参观了北京的著名景点天安门广场和故宫。本课包括两部分：第一部分主要讲他们在长城上谈论长城的历史和长度；第二部分讲述了Danny在回旅馆的路上不顾交通规则所发生的的事。

学情分析

五年级的学生已经有了一定的英语知识基础，具备了一定的逻辑思维能力和

简单的口语表达能力和自主阅读能力。能借助图片表达情感和进行简单的语言交流。

三、

教学目标

1、学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：feel、tired、stop、wait、afraid

2、学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构：

How long is _______?

Don’t be afraid ！

3、学生能通过Danny 的经历意识到遵守

规则的重要性。

4、教学重难点：表示感受的形容词; 谈论物体的长度; 进一步巩固祈使句的用法。

5、教具准备： PPT、教学光盘

教学过程

Step1: Greeting and Warming up 1.

Sing the sing : Let’s Take a Picture 2.

Review: Where does Danny want to take a picture? What happens to Danny? Where does Danny want to do on Tian’anmen Square? What happens? Shep2: New Concepts 1.

Talk about the Great Wall(图片) Where are they? What do you know about the Great Wall? How’s the weather? How do they feel on the Great Wall?

Do you want to go to the Great Wall, too?

Listen and answer. How do they go to the Great Wall? Why? 3.

Read Part1 and answer the questions: How long is the Great Wall? How old is the Great Wall? 4.

Talk about the pictures in Part2, listen and answer. On the way back to the hotel, how do Li Ming and Jenny feel?
