一、学情分析和教材分析

1.学情分析：七年级学生才从小学步入初中，大部分学生基础差，但经过前面一个单元的学习，学生能掌握一些简单的问候语。处于此学段的学生，生性好动，好奇心强，求知欲旺盛，他们对英语既感到好奇又有些畏惧，需要老师适当灵活地鼓励和引导。

2.教材分析：本单元语言目标是“Letters I-R; Identify things; Spell words”，基本句型为What’s

this/that in English?

It’s a/an... 本课以“Identify things 和Spell words ”为重点，通过图片加实物展示的方式让学生熟悉八个基本物体的读法以及拼写，运用目标语言确认物品名称和请求拼写单词。
