Learning aims 知识目标

1. 词汇：spell, please等。

2. 句型：

-- Spell it, please. / How do you spell it?/ Can you spell it? -- K-E-Y, key. 能力目标

能够熟练运用所学句型，辨认物品和拼写单词。

Difficulties ：

1. 拼写单词的相关句型

2. 字母i, o在开音节和闭音节中的读音规则

Teaching steps

Step 1.Warming-up Game: Magical box：

Get one of the student choose one picture or real object in the box, he only can use his body language, let the others guess what it is. Using:—What’s this in English?—Is it a/an…?—Yes / No.

学生们在充满趣味性的情境中一遍遍加深对所学句型的记忆。游戏丰富了学生的想象力，有效激活学生的探究欲望，符合学生的心理特点。

Step2

listening

practice （3a, 3b）

Play the recording for the first time. Students listen and number the pictures; Play the recording for the second time，let them Complete the words under the pictures. Finally ask students to read them aloud. 【教学设计说明】第一步按照图片提示来做，难度不大，训练学生的注意力，留下一种总体印象；第二遍难度加大，训练学生的反应度，两遍有层次的听力练习为后面单元的听力练习养成良好的听力习惯打下基础。最后要求同学们读单词并强调a / an的用法. 在训练学生听的能力的同时，引出下面活动中的句型，自然的过渡到下个环节。

Step 3. pairwork

(1) Listen and get the students to repeat the conversations。

(2) 教师与学生配合示范编对话。在示范中引导讲解拼写单词句型。

（3）学生与同伴仿照编队话，并且小组起立进行对话表演。

【教学设计说明】这个活动学生先听后说，先让学生感知，产生疑问然后讲解再配合练习，符合学习规律，帮助同学们在思考中学习。

Step4 Groupwork：

Talk about the students’ bedroom. Ask and answer in group. Encourage them to use new words. （1）

Talk about the things in the picture of 3e. （2）

Drew a simple picture of your own bedroom. （3）

Talk about it using –What’s this in English? --It’s… —spell it, please.

Show the picture and act the conversation to the class. 【教学设计说明】锻炼学生掌握小组合作的规则，帮助他们养成合作学习的习惯。先通过实例为学生做好示范在小组的和谐配合下，充分发挥想象，自己画图，让观察生活，热爱生活，。学生运用所学知识谈论实际问题，为学生创设了自然运用知识的机会。
