本节课是外研版新标准英语三年级起点五年级上册第三模块第一单元的第一课时，本单元的语言功能是询问与描述过去发生的事情；课文通过电话对话，大明询问Amy在英国周末的活动，使学生能听懂、认读以下单词:weekend，place,British,museum,how,took,hour, minute。并能够够在真实的语言环境中用Where did you go...? I went to … . What did you do? I … .How did you go there? I went there… .等重点句型询问对方上周末的活动情况，询问与描述过去发生的事情。

三、教学目标

知识与技能目标：

（1）学生能够听懂、认读以下单词:weekend，place, British,museum, how,

best, took, river, hour, minute, trip, along.

学生能运用句型：What did you do ？

Where did you go?询问别人过去做的事情。

2. 过程与方法目标：（1）学生通过视听、模仿、比赛、角色扮演等形式深入理解文本，感知并操练目标语句。

（2）通过活动体验，在交流中学会谈论上周末从事的活动，谈论不久前发生的事情，发展综合语言运用能力。

3、情感态度与价值观目标：读万卷书，行万里路;培养学生学习的兴趣，鼓励学生积极合作，引导学生了解西方的名胜古迹。

教学重点：

（1）学生能够听懂、认读以下单词:weekend，place, British，museum, how,

best, took, river, hour, minute, trip, along.

（2）能运用句型：What / Where/How did ...?询问别人过去做的事情。

教学难点：利用动词过去式的变化描述过去所做的事情。
