T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today？I’m very well, too. 2.

Review some“adj .” Ss have learned. (1)

T: Children, look at this pictures. What is it？

Yes, it’s an elephant. And the elephant is very big. Then look at this elephant, it’s very small.

PPT shows some other pictures, Ss try to use the sentence pattern ” It’s ....” and some “adj” to describe some animals and things adj: thin, fat, long, short, new, old, expensive, cheap. When the words”expensive”and “cheap” are showed, T takes out the words cards and ask Ss to read these two words two by two and group by group. (2)

T；Boys and girls, do you remember what these places are? Let’s have a look. These places are.... Ask Ss to say the places. And these places are very beautiful. Can you try to describe these beautiful places?

Ss say the sentences:

The River Thames is _____ and _____.

Big Ben is _____ and _____.

Tower bridge is _______ and _______. II: Listening & Reading Activities 1. T; Children, look, who is she? Yes, She is Amy. And what is Amy doing？

T: Yes, she is phoning/talking to her grandma. Now let’s have a look what they are talking about.

Play the video, ask Ss to follow the tape and read the text. T: So boys, and girls, what are Amy and her grandma talking about? Yes, they are talking about their computers. 2.T: OK, children, look, what is it? Yes, it’s a computer. And we can use computers

to do many things. We can use them to learn English, listen to music, play games and so an. So we can say computers are very helpful. 3. Read the text again and circle the words that describe their computers. T: Who bought a computer for Amy? Yes, her dad. Now let’s try to be Amy and her grandma, and make the dialogue. 4.Ss do role-play and read the dialogue between Amy and her grandma. Girla are Amy, boys are grandma. 5. T: Boys and girls, look, whose computer is it? Yes, it’s Amy’s computer. Then can you describe her computer?

Ss say the sentences: It’s cheap. It’s ....

T; You did a very good job. Now look, whose computer is it? Yes., it’s grandma’s computer. Can you describe it”

Ss say the sentences: It’s big. It’s .... It’s not .... 6.

So Amy has got a computer Grandma has got a computer, too. What can they do with the computer? Yes, they can sand emails to each other. Look, what is it? Good, it’s an email. And we can send emails to our family members, our friends and our teachers with the computers. III:Further development 1.
