教材分析

本课是《英语》（新标准）（一年级起点）五年级下册第四模块的第一单元。本单元的主要内容是谈论收到过的礼物。本单元的学习重点是复习一般过去时的用法。过去时在之前的课文中曾经出现过，学生比较熟悉，但是一般过去时态的用法需要再次强化练习。

学情分析

五年级的学生，已有多年英语学习的基础。对于过去时态的认识和理解，学生在此前的学习活动中已经有所接触，学生能够基本把握一般过去时的概念及含义。但对于不规则动词的变化及运用含有过去时形式的词句，尤其是理解和运用动词过去时的特殊变化形式，还比较陌生。通过本课教学意图使学生对一般过去时的形式和用法有一个全面的了解，并能够尝试运用含有动词过去时形式的陈述句叙述和谈论收到过的礼物。

三、教学目标

1.语言技能

（1）听：

全体学生能听懂

（3）读：

全体学生能朗读课文，阅读相关短文。

（4）写：

全体学生能写出3—4个语句谈论收到过的礼物。

（3）词汇：全体学生能理解：sent, American, read, interesting

全体学生能运用：read, interesting

部分学生能运用：sent, American

进一步强化语音语调，初步达到语调达意。

四、课时目标

掌握一般过去时，并能谈论收到过的礼物。

五、教学重、难点

1. 重点：掌握本单元需识别与运用的单词，能运用I sent you English books. Did you read them?这类语句谈论收到过的礼物，并能在实际情景中理解运用含有过去时形式的陈述句。

2. 难点：

I sent you ...... ; Did you get it?的对应回答句中动词的时态变化；以及v.+ it/them(代词宾格形式)的操练。

七、教学过程

I. Warm-up and lead-in:

1. Greetings：Hello, boys and girls. How are you?

2. Warm-up:

Let’s have a free talk: What did you do yesterday?

Invite some students to answer the question. And ask the last one: Were you happy?

3. Lead-in: Learn Activity 1. And look at the picture. The little boy was also very happy, because the old man sent him two presents. Let’s enjoy a chant and find what the presents are. Watch the flash of A1 and answer. Here learn new word “sent”. Watch again and do the chant together. II. Task-presentation From the chant, we know the little boy has got a bike and a kite. Here I also have got a present. The present is two Harry Potter books. Did you read them? Today we will

learn Module 4 Unit 1 Did you read them? (Practice the title) The task for today is that we can talk about the presents we've got by using the simple past tense. III. Text learning 1. T: Look at the PPT, it’s Daming and grandma. Grandma lives in the US now. And Daming is in China. They are talking on the phone. Let’s watch the flash of Activity 2 and answer: What presents did grandma send to Daming? Watch the flash for the first time and answer: Grandma sent Daming a maths game, American chocolate and English books.

American is a new word and students have watched a micro video about “American”

before class, now do a practice: The chocolate is made in _______. So it is ________ chocolate. 2. Listen again and find: about these three presents, how did grandma ask (draw straight line)? how did Daming answer ( draw wave line)? Show it one present by one. ①

Learn new words “read” and “interesting”. A chant about “read”: Read, read, I read books every day. Read, read, I read books yesterday. Pay attention to “it” and “them”. 4. Read the table once. Then write on the blackboard. 5. Last question: What will Daming do this summer?

A: He will go the the US this summer. 6. Listen and repeat. Pay attention to pronunciation and intonation.

Amy sent Lingling six presents. They are English books, CDs, dresses, a football, a bike and a doll. Let’s make a dialogue between Amy and Lingling.

Amy: I sent you some books. Did you read them?

Lingling: Yes, I read them. They're interesting. Thank you. Work in pairs to make the dialogue about the other five presents, then show it in public. 2. Talk about my present T: Lingling got six presents. Daming got three presents. Now I will talk about my present. You should listen carefully, I will ask you some questions about my present. My friend sent me a present last week. The present is two Harry Potter books. I read them yesterday. I read 40 pages at once. Because they’re very interesting. I like the Harry Potter books very much. Children in America like Harry Potter, too. Do you like Harry Potter? Q: What is my present? Who sent the present to me? When did I get the present? What did I do? How do I like the present? Stick “what, who, when, what, how” on the blackboard. 3. Production: group work T: All the students bring a present to the class. It’s time to talk about your present. First let’s talk about it in groups. Four minutes for you. Let’s go. Four minutes later, ask several groups to show their presents in the front. V.
