课题:Book10 Module 7 Unit 1

I’ll be home at 7 o’clock. 教学内容:本课的情境是傍晚Sam、Amy和Ms Smart轮流给Mr Smart打电话,询问他何时到家。通过这条主线,向学生介绍如何谈论活动的计划。

课时:一课时

一、教学目标

⒈知识目标

a.掌握单词quarter b.掌握句型 I’ll be home at 7 o’clock. It’s half past six. It’s a quarter to seven. ⒉能力目标

能正确运用一般将来时介绍自己的活动计划。

⒊情感态度目标 养成早睡早起的良好作息习惯。 二、教学重点

⒈掌握I’ll be home at 7 o’clock.这些句子,并能运用这些一般将来时的句子,谈论自己的周末计划。

三、教学难点

两种时间的表达法:It’s half past six. It’s a quarter to seven. 四、教学用具

五、教学过程

Step 1. Revision and lead-in ⒈Greeting ⒉Listen and say the chant. ⒊Free talk:

T: When do you get up every morning? Ss: I get up at …

⒋Watch and answer: T: Look! Daming was late for school today. When did he get up this morning? 育人点:养成早睡早起的良好作息习惯。 (设计意图:chant导入,烘托氛围,通过chant复习unit 1学过的知识,同时通过书上的活动1,向学生介绍时间的表达方式,为后面的活动做好铺垫。)

Step 2. Task presentation ⒈Free talk. T:

Children’s Day is coming. What will you do on Children’s Day? Ss:I’ll …

T: Today let’s learn how to make a holiday plan. Let’s learn M7U2. (设计意图:任务型教学,通过本课的学习任务—学习制定活动计划。)

Step 3. Text learning ⒈Watch and answer. T: What time will Mr Smart be at home? Ss: He will be at home at 7 o’clock. (板书标题句)

⒉Listen and repeat.Then ask and answer.

Step 4. Practice

⒈ Look and say. (Activity 3) T: It’s 5 o’clock in the afternoon now. Dad will be home at 7 o’clock in the evening. Ss: It’s … now. … will be … at …

⒉Say and guess. T: I’ll play basketball in the afternoon. Ss: Will you play basketball at 2 o’clock in the afternoon? T: Yes, I will. I’ll play basketball at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. (设计意图:通过看图说、猜一猜等活动,巩固所学的一般将来时及时间的表达,进行语言的生活化运用。)

Step 5. Task completion ⒈ Make a plan. Children’s Day is coming. Tingting will make her holiday plan. She usually gets up at six o'clock. But on Children's Day, she will get up at half past 7 in the morning. she will have breakfast at 8 o’clock. Then she will go to the zoo. Can you guess how she will go there? Haha, she will go there by car. And she will get there at a quarter to 9. This is the fourth time she goes to the zoo. She will be very happy. And she will go home at five. Do you want to go with her? Ask and answer. What time does Tingting usually get up? How will she go to the zoo? What time will she get to the zoo? ⒉Ss try to make their Children’s Day plan. Write down the plan. Then report in front of the class with their forms. (设计意图:通过课外阅读回答问题,大致了解制定活动计划的方法。拓展一般将来时及时间的表达,在说会的基础上,进行书写练习。)
