一.Teaching analysis: 1.Analysis of teaching material This unit is mainly about amazing things in the world .In the first part of this unit--Welcome to the unit, the students learn about how to use sentences to express amazing things in the world and make a conversation about this topic. In the Reading part, the students will enjoy a complete story about the ghost in the park. The story is very interesting and can attract the readers’ attention.the tense of the story is the simple past tense and this brings the students problems with reading. 2. Analysis of students The students are sure to be interested in amazing things in the world. They can express amazing things in the world and make a conversation about this topic in English. The students will learn an article about the ghost in the park and show an interest in it. However, the students are unable to master the simple past tense , so the article is a bit difficult for the students to read.
