The students can tell the difference between V-ing and V-ed when they play as Attribute, Predicative and Object Complement. Ability Aim: The students can use the Past Participle as the Attribute, Predicative and Object Complement correctly. Teaching Procedures: Step One: Lead-in Give some sentences containing the Past Participle to the students, and ask them to analyze the sentence structure and pay attention to the Past Participle.

Step Two: Analysis of the Past Participle. 2.1. the Past Participle as Attribute. Give the students some examples and help them tell the difference between V-ed and V-ing as Attribute. spoken English 口语英语；

English speaking country 说英语的国家

boiled water 开水;

boiling water 沸水

fallen leaves 落叶；falling leaves 正在飘落的叶子

the risen sun 升起的太阳；

the rising sun正在升起的太阳

2.2. the Past Participle as Predicative Give the students some examples and help them tell the difference between V-ed and V-ing as Predicative. confused/confusing
