阅读内容：A Master of Nonverbal Humor 材料分析：本阅读篇章主题是人物传记。语篇不同于一般的人物介绍，只是介绍生平和成就，而是更加突出时代背景，注重卓别林如何在当时的时代背景下通过自己表演角色的塑造引导人们走出阴霾，重新相信未来和热爱生活的社会贡献。

教学目标：

1语言能力: 通过语篇标题预测语篇主题和内容，理解主要信息和要点，理解隐形逻辑关系；

2学习能力: (1)通过快速浏览理解文章大意，扫读获取篇章具体信息；

(2)有意识地注意和积累本单元的好词好句表达; (3)有合作学习意识，愿意与他人分享学习资源；

4文化意识: (1)了解英式幽默的经典人物和作品，品味不同文化的魅力

(2)树立正确的价值观，合理看待公众人物的言行举止。

教学活动设计：

Task1. Pre-view the reading text and write down what you think of Charlie Chaplin. Task2. Summarize the main idea of each paragraph. Task3. Exploring Case 1. As Victor Hugo once said, "Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face", and up to now nobody has been able to do this better than Charlie Chaplin. Your reason: 教学反思：本教学活动设计以语篇教学思路为指导，以结合高考阅读题型为辅助，在语篇理解设计中引导学生关注代词和连接词，从而更好地理解语篇。从情感方面来讲，以master为关键词，通过探讨成龙是否可以被称为master，既可以让学生畅所欲言，发表自己的观点；又可以升华主题，引导学生树立正确的价值观，合理看待公众人物的言行举止。因此，本教学设计符合语篇教学方法与策略的要求。
