Unit4 What can you do?

一、教学目标

教学内容：

教学内容

教学目标：

（1）学生能够听，说，读，写句型：What can you do? I can... （2）让每个学生都能积极主动参与教学活动，发挥学生的主观能动性，从而使他们更加热爱英语学习，增强英语学习的信心。

（3培养学生热爱劳动的良好品质，积极做自己力所能及的事。

教学重点：

对四会掌握句型：What can you do? I can... 教学难点：

1、理解对话含义并能灵活运用于实践。

2、ill ,just do it!单词与词组的理解。

3，正确拼写四会句型。

二、教学策略

1. 利用情景开展有效教学，让学生在接近真实的情境中愉快学习，

在活动中掌握学习的规律。

2. 教学准备：

1、教师准备多媒体课件。

2、教师准备录音机和录音带。

3、教师准备相关单词卡片、句子卡片。

5、学生每人准备一张练习纸。

三、教学过程

（一）Warm-up

1.Let’s chant(P44):

Dog, Dog, what can you do? I can run after you.

2. 仿照Let’s chant,做传声游戏。

T: Lily,Lily, what can you do? S1: I can sweep the floor. T: Zhaoming, Zhaoming, what can you do? S2: I can set the table. （设计意图：全班一起朗读歌谣能活跃课堂气氛，并且通过师生之间的歌谣式的问答让学生复习句型What can you do? I can... 学生轻松融入学习英语的氛围中.并且由此引入新课的学习。）

（二）Presentation 1.引入：CAI呈现Mother goat生病的情景。（Mother goat并发出呻吟声）

T: Who is that? S1: Mother Goat. T: What’s the matter? S2:Mother goat is ill.（板书）

: （CAI展示凌乱的房间图）What a mess in her house! We are helpful! We can help her.（板书） OK? What can you do? 3 I can ...

4: I can... 学生回答时适时加入OK, just do it .（板书）

We can help her! What about Zip and her friends. (指板书的人物) What can they do for Mother goat? Guess and match! （让学生猜想动物能做的事情） p monkey sweep the floor Rabbit wash the window Zoom cook the meals Zip water the flowers (设计意图：让学生通过猜测小动物所能做的事情，一方面能激发学生的兴趣，活跃学生的思维，另一方面能让学生带有目的性地观看下面的read and write，阅读目的性较强，学生会很主动地看是否跟自己的猜测一样，很好地提高阅读的效率。)

2.Watch VCD后连线看他们是否猜对。

（设计意图：第一遍观看CIA的目的是了解文章的大概内容，播放前让学生带着问题有目的去看。）

（三） Practice 1. Open your book P48.Read the dialogue and finish the exercises 1. True or false.

①Mother Sheep is ill. ( ) ②Monkey can sweep the floor. ( ) ③Zip can clean the window. ( ) ④Zoom can’t water the flowers.( ) ⑤They are helpful. ( ) (设计意图：第二遍阅读目的是培养学生获取信息、处理信息的能力。通过理解课文的主要内容和细节信息,让学生根据对话内容判断句子的对错，借以检测学生的理解程度。) 2. 朗读文段并且给时间学生质疑

T: Do you understand the passage now? Can you read it out? Listen to the tape and read after it. (1)Read by themselves and underline the difficulties. (2) 让学生提出质疑。（理解Mother Goat is ill. We can help her .Just do it. 等。用卡片展示。） (3) Practice the dialogue in a group of 5. 3. Perform the dialogue about the housework we can do for Mother Goat.

T: Zip and her friends are helpful. They’re great! We are helpful, too. We can also help Mother Goat do housework. Now, let’s do something, OK? Lily, Tom, Amy, come on, please. (教师跟另外三个学生先做示范,边说边做动作) T: Mother Goat is ill. We can help her. I can clean the kitchen, What can you do? S1: I can empty the trash. S2: I can clean the desk. S3: I can do the dishes. (CAI同时呈现Mother Goat is ill. We can help her. I can…) T: What about you? What can you do for Mother Goat. Discuss in group of 4.(邀请几组学生表演.) 结束故事 T: Look! Mother goat’s house is so clean now. She is happy. (设计意图: 通过小组模仿创造对话,把相关情景联系到学生的生活，充分激发他们学习新知并且加以运用知识的欲望。鼓励学生能在情境中学习、在活动中参与，从而激发学生的兴趣，培养学生的模仿能力及合作能力，从中体验成功的喜悦。) 4.书写本课四会句子。

The student write down on their book first ,then check the answer .根据答案，老师边把四会句子I can sweep the floor. I can cook the meals. I can water the flowers. 贴在黑板上。再叫学生读一遍，然后引出问句What can you do?) ( 四 ) Sum up T: Today we read the dialogue about Zip and her friends to help Mother Goat do housework. And we learn the sentences. What can you do? I can cook the meals .I can sweep the floor.…
