“Join in”五年级下册Unit 5 Part 4a&4b A Story ——The seal

一、教材分析:

本课为故事教学课,它是Join in教材学生用书五年级下册第五单元(On the beach)的第四部分。本单元的主题为在海滩上(On the beach)。通过故事、短文等让学生在情景中了解和学习有关海滩上理解A jet-ski将一只小海豹撞伤,Emma 和Mike 在潜水时发现了它,将它救回并医治好,让它重回大海的故事。

二、教学目标:

知识目标

(1)借助故事情景能听懂下列句型:

What’s that in the water? I think it’s (blood). Get into the boat.

How is our seal? It’s fine/ (badly) hurt. (2)在实际生活能听懂、会说下列表达方式:

Let’s go snorkeling/swim closer/get closer/go back/get help.

I’ll get my mask and flippers.

I’ll take it with me.

We’ll go and get it.

技能目标:

能在情景中运用所学语言知识。

情感目标:

通过故事的学习使学生学会关心、爱护小动物,培养保护动物的意识。

三、设计理念:

根据新课标提出的“采用活动途径,倡导体验参与”精神,本节课结合故事情景组织教学,通过情境的设计,以“情”促说,以“情”促

用,让学生具备在情境中学会英语,在情境中运用英语的能力。

四、教学重点:

a mask、flippers、some rewards、课件

七、教学步骤:

(一)热身活动

1.

Lead in (1)Have you ever been to the beach?

Let’s enjoy the beautiful sights of the beach together.视频欣赏海滩美丽风景

(2)Look at the picture(出示图片) and discuss: What are they doing on the beach?复习-ing动词词组。

(二)情景教学

1.

Present: Let’s …

I’ll get …. (1)T: Now our friends Emma and Mike are having their holiday on the beach,too. What are they going to do?

T: What are they going to do? What does Emma say?

Ss: They are going to …. (2)Listen to the cassette.

Emma: Let’s go snorkeling.

T: They are going to go snorkelling.

(3)观看视频,理解snorkel含义.

What is he doing?

---He is snorkelling.

What are they doing?

--- They are snorkelling.

(4)T: Let’s go snorkeling. What will we get?

Listen to the cassette. Mike:I’ll get my mask and flippers.

T: Mike will get his mask and flippers.

(5)运用图片教学mask、flippers、
