学情分析：

1．学生从四年级就开始接触过去时态，对过去时态的概念已不再生疏，能很快地判断出动作的时态。但是并不能很好地运用过去时态描述事件或表达情绪，那么这个任务将在五年级阶段完成。本节课主要学习了两个过去时态句型：He/She was a ---. Did heshe ---? Yes, he/she did. No, he/she didn't.第一个句型很简单，学生之前已接触过。第二个句型是学生将面临的难题，学生不仅要描述他以前都做过什么，还要对提出的相关问题做出回答

1.Teaching aims Knowledge aims 1. Students can understand the key sentence patterns: Did your grandma learn English? Yes,she did. He is learning English now. 2.Students will be able to master the key words:learnt、wrote、dancer、studied and so on.

Ability aims Stuedents can use the target languages and past tense in the real situation.

Emotional aims Encourage students to save their happiness life and to know how to repect old man.

4.Teaching procedures A、Warming—up(热身环节) Greeting: T: Hello, Good morning, class. S: Good morning, teacher. T: Are you ready for your English class? S: Yes. We are ready. Game: Sing a chant to review the past tense of some verbs. go-went went to school write-wrote wrote a book ride-rode rode a bike buy-bought bought a bag.

B：Presentation（任务呈现与课文导入）

Step1. Look,listen and learn

T：We know Lingling is still in England with Sam and Amy. She misses China and she misses her grandmother. Do you know what's her grandmother like.Let's look at the picture.Lingling is looking at some photos.What are they?Now listen and find the answer.

Step2.Listen and answer

Listen again and answer some questions Now, look at the screen and look at these questions, then answer. 1、播放第一遍录音，进行课文的整体呈现。

2. 再播放第二遍录音

，学生带着问题听录音并寻找答案（Study in their groups. ）

1)Where did Lingling's grandma dance? 2)Whichi foreign languages did LingLing’s grandma learn? 3)Was Lingling's grandpa a druver? 4)Did he learn English then? 5)What is he doing now?

Step3.Listen and read 播放第三遍录音，学生跟读。

Students read after the tape ,manwhile I will pay attention to their prounciation.

C.Practise At first,I will divide the whole class into 2 groups:Group1 and Group 2 .They will get one gift from LingLing’s grandma after every activity.

activity 1 What’s missing I will show some new word cards on the blackboard,let students observ them for one minute.Then hide one of them and ask:What’s missing.Studentswill answer me whichi word disappearand read it loudly.The group which answer correctly will get one gift.

activity 2 role play Students read the article in role .3 puiples in a group .Student1 could be Sam,students2 could be LingLing and students3 could be Amy.Give them several mins,then invite some groups to show in front of the class.The better group could get one gift.

D.Conclusion I will show pictures of activity4.let students talk about what they are doing ,and try to use English to describe .After that ,give students several mins to write down on book by using the target languages.Until all students finished,I will check the answes.The better group could get one gift .

：肯定句：主语 + 动词的过去式 . I watched TV last Sunday . 否定句：

主语+ didn’t + 动词原形。 I didn’t watch TV last Sunday . 一般疑问句：Did + 主语 + 动词原形 ? Did you watch TV last Sunday? Yes, I did. No , I didn’t . 动词过去式变化口诀（出示课件）

过去式，不难记

一般直接加 -ed 以 -e 结尾只加

–d 遇到一元一辅

重读闭音节，末尾字母要双写
