Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision 1. Greet the Ss.

2. Review words and sentences: Put some real objects on the teacher's desk. (Orange, ruler, pen, key, jacket, cup)

Ask Ss to answer the questions:

T: What's this in English?

Ss: It's an orange.

T: What's this in English?

Ss: It's a ruler.

(Ask about more Ss about other things.)

3. A game: Who has better vision? Ⅱ. Presentation[来源:Z,xx,k.Com]

1. Show some pictures on the PPT and then teach Ss how to spell the new words. T: (With a real object) what's this in English? Ss: It's a ruler. T: Spell it, please.

T: R-U-L-E-R. (Write "Spell it, please." and "R-U-L-E-R." on the Bb.)

Then ask some Ss the same questions: T: What's this in English? S1: It's a ruler. T: Spell it, please. S1: R-U-L-E-R. Ⅲ. Practice 1. Show pictures and ask Ss to fill in the blanks. 2. Check answers. Ⅳ. Pair work 1.

Two students a group to talk about the things in the picture in 3e. 2.

Ask some Ss to show their conversations.

Ⅴ. Listening

1. Finish 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d. Before listening, make them understand the title.

2. For the first time, only listen. For the second time, listen and finish the task. For the third time, check the

answers. For the fourth time , repeat them after the recording. 3. Add more listening task to practice their listening skills.

Ⅶ.Exercise

1. Hand out a paper to every student and then ask them to finish the exercises on the paper. 2. Check answers. 3. By finishing and checking the exercise to summarize what we have learnt today. Ⅷ.Homework
