学情分析:
六年级学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,听说单词对他们而言较容易。学生的认知能力不断提高,抽象逻辑思维能力、创造思维能力有了较大发展,注意的稳定性比低年级有所提高,观察能力、识记能力开始逐步形成。本单元的话题贴近学生生活,他们非常感兴趣,愿意谈论体育课和运动。
教学目标:
1. 能听、说、读、写本课的核心词汇:high jump, long jump, long race, short race, win . 2.
能熟练掌握核心句型:
We have two PE lessons at school every week. Sometimes we play ball games. My friends and I like playing sport. 3. 能用合适的句型介绍体育课的基本情况。
4. 初步了解奥运会的基本知识,热爱体育运动。
教学重难点:
1. jump作动词和动名词的不同用法以及搭配。
2. like something与like doing,be good at something与be good
at doing的不同用法。

教学策略:教学中,我从兴趣入手,兴趣是最好的老师。在热身活动时我用Chant导入新课,创设英语教学情景,使孩子一下子就融入到新课教学中。我采用了多媒体辅助教学,利用多媒体直观形象的效用——“图、像、声、色”功能,充分调动学生的多种感官。我采用多种活动方式:师生之间、学生之间,加强学生的听说训练,让孩子在用中学,在学中用。在教学中,我注重鼓励孩子,时时激励孩子。

教学过程:
Warming up:

How often do you have it? 2.Brainstorming:What comes up when you think of a PE lesson? Presentation: 1.

5.Ask in pairs:
Do you( do these sports)in your PE lessons? 6.Ask:What sports do you like doing? 7.Listen and say. 8.Read the dialogue. 9.Complete Peter’s notes. Practise: 1. Ask in pairs:What sports are you good at? 2.Ask:How many PE lessons do you have every week?Do you like PE lessons?What do you like doing in PE lessons? 3.Do a survey and report:What’s your favourite activity? 4.Think and write.
