Use “what’s missing “to review colors. 3.let’s chant colors. （第一步对于刚学习英语的三年级小学生来说，这些简单的问候是非常有效的热身复习；第二步what’s missing营造英语课堂氛围，又充分调动了学生学习英语的情绪。第三步是对本模块第一单元关于颜色的复习，为本节课接下来的学习作铺垫）

Step2 Task presentation 1.

Do you like animals? show different animals to talk about favorite animals. Let students can say “a red cat/a green cat and so on”

New words in the sentences. Ask students “what’s the color of the cat?”show “It’s a ____cat. Let students try to use it to answer. Then learn dog, cap like this. （本部分一步帮助学生唤醒和感知新的知识，初步描述小猫的几种不同颜色。引导出你最喜欢的小动物是什么颜色呢？第二步时注意单词的教授，采取能激起学生兴趣的呈现方式，学生更易掌握）

Step3 Text learning 1.

Listen to again, find out what Panpan has conjured. 3.

Listen and repeat, pay attention to your pronunciation. 4.

Let students sum up “It’s a/an + color + single thing”. 5.

Act out Activiy2 like Panpan. （跟读模仿加深了对课文的理解，加强了对语言知识的正确运用。小组内练习，班内展示并及时作出评价，充分的调动学生的积极性）

Step4 Practice 1.

Look ,find and say(P24). Look pictures ,find differences and describe them. 2.

Guessing game. Show some pictures, ask students to use “It’s a ____cat”to describe them. 3.

Let’s sing a song , a rainbow. (第一步找出两幅图的异同，不仅锻炼学生的观察能力，还让学生明白颜色可以区分物品的特征。个人表演，两人活动，多人小组活动，以及歌曲演唱和设计的游戏都是语言内化的形式。所采取的系列活动也是检查学生语言运用掌握的情况，让他们不断的巩固所学知识，并得到拓展和提升。)

Step5 Task Completion Color and say(P25). Look at the picture, say the things and color your favorite colors.
