一、教材分析:
这是外研社新标准英语三年级起点四年级下册M5U2的课文,本课重点内容是“be“动词的过去式”was”和”were” 的练习,以及它们的否定形式“wasn’t”和”weren’t”的学习。语言结构:They weren’t …then. They were ….
She /It wasn’t …then.She/It was….等。
二、教学目标:
1.知识目标:全体学生能理解掌握单词wasn’t、weren’t、dirty、clean 等。全体学生能理解运用一般过去时句型“They weren’t old then.They were young.”等。
2.技能目标:全体学生能听懂会说认读单词及句型,并能正确书写。能运用“was 、were”及其否定形式“wasn’t、weren’t”谈论过去的事情和情况。
3.情感目标:通过多种多样的教学方法,使学生保持持久的学习兴趣,并且在学习中善于发现、乐于合作、勇于创新,主动请教。
三、重难点:
1.教学重点:练习使用”was,wasn’t, were, weren’t”表达过去的一些事情。
2.教学难点:能正确理解运用一般过去时,并能正确对比运用。
四、教学方法:
基于对教学理念、教材分析、学生分析、教学目标、重难点的分析,我采用了以下教学方法:.任务型教学方法、图片展示法、游戏法、视听法。

Step2 Revision and leading-in (复习导入)
1.看图抢答说出一些形容词,并说说它的反义词。
big -–small, fat-thin, short- long/ tall ,young-old
2. 出示图片,并结合形容词说图片,运用I am…….now. I was……then.
Step 3 Learn activity 1
1.Listen carefully and answer the question.
2. T:(出示第一幅图片)what’s this? S: It’s a butterfly.
T: How does it?(它是怎样的?)S: It’s very beautiful.
3.通过对比理解掌握相关文本。
出示第二张图片,学习单词“wasn’t”,说明是蝴蝶小的时候,并问学生小时候的蝴蝶是什么样的。(对学生有所提示,说出It wasn’t beautiful then. They weren’t beautiful then.) 4.学习新单词。

5.Learn new words and new sentences
T :Look at me. I have a balloon. I can blow it big. Look! They are big. Say after me”big”Big, They are big. They are big. OK, now I can make them small. Look. They are small. Say after me, small. Small. They are small. They are small. So we can say like this. They are small. They weren’t big then.
Who wants to try? Blow the balloon. (出示气球由大到小) Now, how about this. They are small. They weren’t small then. They were big.
小结:现在我们可以用is, am are.其中is am用于单数,are用于复数,两个以上我们就叫复数。表示过去我们用was和were, was用于单数,were用于复数。表示否定我们可以在be动词后加上n’t 。
