Lesson8 First,Second,Third 教学设计 一.教学目标:

知识目标:

1.掌握新单词

:first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth , eleventh , twelfth. 2.句型:Li Ming is the first . The girl is the second . The boy in red shorts is the third . January is the first month . 能力目标:使学生掌握本课所学序数词,并能实际运用序数词。

情感态度:通过多样性的活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在英语课堂中不断体验成功,感受乐趣,树立自信心,促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。 二.教学重难点:

重点:first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth ,eleventh , twelfth. 难点:序数词的英文拼写及实际运用。

三.教学准备:幻灯片、单词图片。

Step 1 Greeting Step 2 Review

let’s play a game 教师把学生分为两组,男生说唱one,one ,女生说唱January,以此类推,然后互相交换,女生说唱one,one ,男生说唱January。

One , one ------January Two, two ------February Three, three ------March Four , four ------April Five , five ------ May Six , six------June Seven , seven------July Eight ,eight ------August Nine ,nine ------September Ten ,ten ------October Eleven ,eleven ------November Twelve , twelve------December

(设计意图:通过数字、月份比赛这种学生喜闻乐见的形式复习学过的数字和月份,并为接下来学习第一至第十二的序数词做准备。)

Step 3 Presentation 1. Numbers.(学生看图片) T: Now look here ! This is a race.(他们正在比赛。) T: Read after me ! This is a race . S: This is a race . T: Race. S: Race. T: Look here, who is the first ? (谁第一?)

S: LiMing! T: Right ! LiMing is the first ! Read after me ! LiMing is the first ! S: LiMing is the first ! T: (教师把first板书在黑板上) Read after me ! First ! S: First ! T:How to spell it ? S: f-i-r-s-t.(教师板书,学生拼读) T: First! S: First! 叫多名学生读单词,教师及时纠正发音。

T: Look here ! Who is the second ? (谁第二?) S: The girl ! T: Yes ! The girl is the second . Read after me ! The girl is the second . S: The girl is the second . T: Second .(板书) 学生读单词,教师及时纠正发音。

T: Look!Who is the third? S: The boy ! T: Yes! The boy in red shorts is the third ! Read after me ! The boy in red shorts is the third ! S: The boy in red shorts is the third ! T: Third ! S: Third ! T:t-h-i-r-d(板书) 学生读单词,教师及时纠正发音。

T:Well done ! Look at the other ordinal numbers . How to spell fourth ? S: f-o-u-r-t-h. T: Fourth. S: Fourth. T:(教师出示其它序数词) Teacher use the same way to teach “fifth ---twelfth ”.

备注:fifith , twelfth 多读几遍。)

3.Listen to the radio , then read after it . a. 教师请一位同学领读,其他学生跟读。

b. 接龙读,教师随时纠正发音。 Step4 Practice Have a match . T: Who can tell me how many months are there in a year? S: Twelve. T: Look at part 2, I will give you two minutes to finish it .Begins. S: 学生连线

T: OK! Look here, January is the first month . S: January is the first month . T: Next one .

S1: February is the second . S2: ..... 教师出示答案。

(设计意图:通过小组讨论,使学生巩固所学序数词和月份,并能够运用到句子中。同时这种形式可以鼓励更多学生参与到活动中,进而得到锻炼和表达的机会。)

Step 5 sum-up T: Look at the ordinal numbers , what do you find ? S1: 从四开始末尾加th. S2: .. S3: .. T:Great! You’re wonderful ! Look here! Read after me !

1,2,3 变体,th从4起,8加h,9去e,拿来f代ve。

(备注:教师和学生一起拍手读。)

Step 6 Homework T: Take out your note book , write down the homework . 1.Listen to the tape , read lesson 8 five times. 2.Finish activity books of this lesson. 3.Talk about the dates with your friends.
