Task 1 Teaching aims:

1. Lead the students to understand the basic knowledge of a proposal. 2. Make sure that students can grasp the fixed sentence patterns about how to give suggestions.

3. Students are required to learn how to organize a paragraph on giving suggestions in a composition Teaching difficulties and focus: 1. How to involve all the students in different class activities. 2. How to make sure students’ writing ability and language expression ability improved by these activites. Teaching method: 1 .communication method 2. cooperative study method Teaching procedures: Step 1: ask the definition of a proposal Step 2: question: what makes a proposal? Step3: general rules of a proposal

Finish relevant exercise on the book and then check the answers together. Step 4: How to give suggestions?

Give some sentence patterns on the screen and lead the students to do some translation. Step 5: How to organize a paragraph on giving suggestions in a composition?A 建议：

C finish a paragraph of a composition by students themselves (某贫困地区学生上学难问题)首先带领学生分析上学难的原因，再按照A部分的建议谋划自己作文该段落的构成，最后形成最终的段落。给学生7分钟左右时间，最后给出两名学生的段落点评以及范文赏析。
