Part C Story time Class description：

Grade 3 primary pupils (learned English for a week).They are active、creative and imaginative. They like to act and play games. They are curious and eager to learn new things. Teaching concept：

It aims to stimulate and cultivate the student’s interests of learning English. Students can take part in the class practice actively. The activities are focused on the students .With teachers’ help, students learn and use English by perception、experience、practice、joining and cooperation to accomplish the assignments. Both formative and summative assessment are used to evaluate the students’ learning , Teaching aims：

Knowledge aims：

a. Pupils are able to understand, say and read eight new words of colours：red, yellow, green, blue,black,white,brown,purple,orange. b.Pupils are able to understand, say and read the new words：flowers ,look.

C.Pupils are able to understand and use the sentence “How are you? Fine , thank you. ”

Ability aims：

a. Pupils are able to understand the sentences: How are you? Fine , thank you.

b. Pupils are able to use the new words and sentence in other contexts. Affect aims：

a. Pupils are able to participate in the classroom activity and communicate with classmates.

b. Pupils are able to imitate the teacher’s example or recording of the text.

Key points：

Step 1: Warm-up Purpose

热身时师生唱歌互动，活跃气氛。

2.通过转盘的游戏，滚动复习前面学过的单词和句型。

1.由看颜色拓展词组再到句子，层层递进，为下面学新词组做好铺垫。

2.由上一环节过渡到这一环节，呈现相关单词和句型。

3.用一首chant结合前面的内容滚动学习，让学生在朗朗上口的歌谣中掌握单词与句子，既轻松又有效。

4.通过猜一猜的游戏，引出绿色。

5.顺利引出紫色，然后通过一个连线的习题，把所有学过的颜色和句型呈现。

6.通过5片花瓣的组合引出flower这个单词进行教授，过渡自然。

此环节为了学生更深的了解故事内容，设计了一些问题，让学生带着问题去读故事。通过边思考问题边观看视频，始终保持孩子们的思维活跃性，让他们知道并不是盲目的去观看视频，而是持有目的的去了解故事内容。

分组便于形成竞争的学习氛围，更易激发学生的参与意识，同时在分组的过程中帮助掌握和理解故事内容，有利于孩子们发现故事中所要阐述的道理。

作业进行分层，针对不同程度的学生，完成不同的作业，保护好学生的兴趣，让学生乐学英语。
