教学准备：光盘，ppt 教学过程：

Step 1 warm up 1.Free talk Show some pictures and ask :what do you think of Yang zhou. Show another picture of Yang zhou and teach the new word “dirty”

2. Our city is not beautiful, so we should do something to keep our city clean. 3.揭示课题：Keep our city clean

Step 2 Presentation and practice 1. Watch the cartoon and choose pictures

What makes our city dirty? 2.Look at three pictures and learn the new words“smoke”

“factory”

“rubbish”

3. Try to make sentences ……make……dirty/messy. 1. Smoke from cars makes our city dirty. 2. Smoke from factories makes our city dirty. 3.Rubbish makes our city dirty. 4. Discuss in groups: What else makes our city dirty? For example: Spitting everywhere makes our city dirty.

Let students discuss in pairs and the show us their ideas. 5. Discuss in groups: What can we do to keep our city clean?
