Student can read the story and whether they can act or create the story. Teaching procedure: Step 1: Warm up

Daily greetings. B.

Review some words in this unit. C.

Play a game ---ask your friend. Students ask their friend where are you from, then go on asking. It can help students review the most important knowledge in this unit, and also it is a clue of this lesson, because this lesson is about a game. Step 2：Presentation

The teacher introduce the subject of this class. A.

Students listen to the story for the first time, then after listening, they should answer the following questions: 1.How many people are there in the story? Who are they? 2. What are they doing? 3. What's the game about? 4. What’s Zoom like? How about Zip? In order to help students listen to the story easily, a tip for them is necessary-- getting information from the pictures.

After listening, students share their answers and teacher check their answers. B.

Students read and learn the story by themselves. After reading, students should discuss some new words or difficult sentences in the group. Tip 2 Use Word lists and dictionary . Teacher also need to check them by word cards. C.

Student read the story together. After reading, There are some sentences for them to judge. 1. They play a game about father and mother.

2. Zoom thinks he is the teacher because he is clever.

Zip reads “I am the student”.

Step 3: Practice A.Students imitate the story. Pay attention to the intonation and using body language. Teacher should correct mistakes immediately.

After imitating, student can image why do Zoom and Zip think they can be the teacher. And, if Zoom wants to win, can we help him? Students work in groups and write down their answers. B.Students act the story. Before practising, standards for evaluation should be told at first. They can get 1 point if they read the story; if they act the story, they can get 2; if they creat the story, they can get 3 points. Audience should respect and score. C.Summary.
