Lesson4 Seasons and Clothes 五年级三班:孙窈 2018年3月20日

教材分析:Lesson 4 Seasons and Clothes 是《ENGLISH THIS WAY》(《新路径英语》)第六册第二单元的第一课,话题是关于描述各个季节的气候特征以及所穿的服装,如本课的新词汇:sweater, gloves,jeans, shirt, T-shirt,coat,trousers等,以及句式…is here .It’s getting….We wear…。该篇课文是在学生已经在四年级上册Lesson K Four Seasons的基础上展开的进一步学习。该教学题材贴近学生的生活,体现了语言学习不断复现,不断巩固,不断拓展,不断延伸的规律,有利于学生语言的积累和语言运用能力的发展,体现了英语课程标准的理念。但是这篇课文文中出现的新单词多,句子也多,涉及的某些单词较为难发音。本篇教案为第一课时教学设计。作为第一课时,主要整体呈现课文,初步掌握询问句式:…is here .It’s getting….We wear…,对话中出现的新单词sweater, gloves,jeans, shirt, T-shirt,coat,trousers。

教学目标:

1、认知目标:

1)使学生初步掌握本课的新单词,即服装类:sweater, gloves,jeans, shirt, T-shirt,coat,trousers,做到发音准确,语调自然。

2)让学生初步理解句型“…is here .It’s getting….We wear…”,并能较为熟练地交流运用。

3)帮助学生借助图片来理解本课四个小短文,能较为流畅地朗读。

2、能力目标:通过“互动型”的教学途径,培养学生的创新精神和将所学的英语运用于日常交际的能力,提高学生的语言能力和学习能力,让学生得到自我发展和个性发展。

3、情意目标: 1)通过创新教学方法,提高学生学习英语的兴趣;结合学习内容,培养学生的表现力,养成学生爱思考的良好习惯。

2)通过学习让学生明白应该在适合的季节穿适合的衣服,学会爱护身体。

教法学法:

情景教学法、合作探究法

教学准备:多媒体课件

教学过程:

第2课时

Step 1 Warming up and revisions.

1、Greetings.

Good morning,class.

How are you?

How’s the weather today?Yes, it’s ….It’s a little….So I wear….

What does “wear” mean?It means….

(做动作帮助学生理解wear的意思,板书,教读。)

2、Revisions.

How many seasons in a year?

What are they?

Let’s say together.Spring,summer,autumn,winter.

How’s the weather in spring,P1?

Yes. Spring is coming.It’s warm.

(接着引出summer,autumn,winter三个季节以及天气情况。)

3、The chant.

(让学生一起诵读四年级已学的《Four seasons》,为引出新的chant做铺垫。)

Step 2 Leading-in

1、Make groups.

(用spring,summer,autumn,winter四个季节来命名四个大组,进行小组评价,调动学生积极性。)

2、Here is a new chant.Let’s have a look.Pay attention to the new words.

(引出“here”“getting”,教读两遍。)

Good job.Let’s chant together.

(让学生诵读三遍,为新课教学扫清障碍。提示学生要一遍比一遍读得更快,也是活跃课堂气氛,激发学生兴趣。))

Step 3 Presentation

1、There are four seasons in a year. In different seasons we wear different clothes.

(边说边板书:Lesson 4 Seasons and Clothes,教读三遍)

Please listen to the tape carefully,and tell us what they are talking about.

(播放PPT上的录音)

(抽学生说他/她听到了什么。引导学生根据听到的单词和句子,推断出短文主题,及课文的标题。)

2、Look,talk ,teach and learn.

Picture 1.

Look!Which season is here? And how’s the weather?

(学生说;老师带着学生用新chant里面的前两句,也就是课文前两句说;让学生一起再大声复述一遍。)

Now, let’s listen. Listen and find out what we wear in spring.Please pay attention to the last sentence.

(用汉语告诉学生特别注意最后一句话,再播放PPT上的录音。)

What do we wear in spring? We wear…

(引出We wear shirts and trousers. 板书,整体教读,分音节教读,拼读;开火车读句子。)

(出示shirt,trousers的图片,教读;就地取材用老师和学生的穿着,再教读单词和句子。)

Picture 2.

Can we wear shirts or trousers in summer?Ss:No./Yes.

(让学生明白In different seasons we should wear different clothes.But sometimes, we can wear the same clothes in different seasons.引导学生不要只是局限于课本上的知识,要能联系我们的生活实际。)

Let’s have a look!(PPT)Oh,there are two girls.They wear skirts.

(skirt是学生已经在四年级学生的单词,直接引出就可以。板书。)

Summer is here.It’s getting hot.So they wear skirts.Let’s listen .(PPT)Yes or no? What do they say?

(引出We wear T-shirts and skirts.教学T-shirt,对比shirt出现,简单直接地解决发音问题。板书。)

Girls, what do you wear in summer?(与女生操练句型,同时也让男生明白这是女孩子的穿着。)

Boys,what did they say?(让男生也操练了句子。)

Picture 3.

Please look at this picture.Can you say something about it?

(秋天PPT。让学生仿照前两个季节说句子:…is here.It’s getting…)

Let me tell you. We also can wear the same clothes in autumn.But now,let’s listen what they say about it.(PPT)

(一一出示上述所学到的服饰)Do they wear…?(滚动学习新单词的同时,为引出sweater,jeans做铺垫。)

What did they say? We wear…(让学生说出他们听到的单词。)

(出示图片,把单词放在句子里教学。板书。)

I wear a sweater and jeans.(找出一个有着相同着装的学生) You wear a sweater and jeans,too.We wear sweaters and jeans. We wear sweaters and jeans.Girl,please say.

(女生说完后,让全班复述。)

Who wear like us?(请穿着跟我们一样的同学都站起来说We wear sweaters and jeans.即联系实际,又调动了学生的学习兴趣。)

Picture 4.

Guess which season we are going to talk?(Ss: Winter.)

Let’s say together about it.(Ss: Winter is here.It’s getting cold.)

Good.It’s getting cold.So we must keep warm.Please listen!What do we wear in winter?(PPT)

We wear…(Ss:Gloves.)We wear gloves.

Let’s listen again!(PPT)We wear…(Ss:Coats and gloves.)Very good.We wear coats and gloves.

(引导学生滚雪球式地听音,直到听出整个句子。引出We wear coats and gloves.

教读,板书。)

Look! I wear a coat.You wear coats.(指着全班同学说)

(画一个大圈)We wear coats.(示意全班起立,跟着老师一起比划着说。)

What do you wear in winter?(Ss: We wear coats and gloves.)

(四季小组PK读)

师生过一遍:What do you wear in spring/summer/autumn/winter? We wear…

让全班齐读一遍板书内容。

3、Look at the screen and repeat loudly.

(PPT展示课题以及四个小短文,让学生再次感知课文,熟悉课文。)

4、Open your books and turn to Page24.Point and read together.

(示意学生指着书齐读。回归课文,再次诵读感知,为练习部分做铺垫。)

(仔细看看今天

班上

老师和同学的穿着,然后用英语说说我们都穿了什么。)
