教学设计（Book3 Module1 reading Great European Cities）

整体设计思路:

本课设计分为预学，导学，固学三个板块。

教学内容：Book3 Module1 reading Great European Cities （阅读课）

教材分析：该模块的主题是：Europe。Reading 部分是整个模块的核心。它以文章Great European Cities为载体，为我们了介绍了四个欧洲著名城市的地理、文化和艺术特色。同时呈现出了本模块的重点词汇、句型、语法和语言功能。

学情分析：学生通过高一的学习积累了一定的词汇量，但英语基础薄弱，阅读，写作和口头表达能力有待进一步提高。

教学目标

1.知识目标：1）学习并熟练掌握与话题（城市）相关的词汇，短语和句子

2）了解欧洲国家著名的城市（地理和文化）

2.能力目标:1)通过查找标题，小标题

，关键句，了解文章大意，提高阅读速度

2)通过划线和标注关键句，获取主要信息

3)通过介绍城市的小组活动，提高学生说，写及合作学习能力

4)培养学生运用“所学的知识和技能”课后进行自主探究学习的能力

3.情感目标: 培养学生的跨文化意识，激发对自己祖国，自己城市的热爱

教学重点:

学习如何介绍城市，地理位置的表达

教学难点：通过阅读，模仿介绍海南著名城市/故乡澄迈

教学方法：合作学习法，自主探究学习法

教学工具：多媒体，卡片，黑板

教学过程:

一． Pre-reading(读前) 1.

The Century Bridge is a landmark（标志性建筑）of Haikou. It is a symbol

（象征）of the city.

TT: what about cities in Europe? （设计意图：读前的活动是选择先从学生熟悉的中国城市：北京，上海，海口谈起。然后再引入到课文要学习的欧洲城市。这使得目标语言的学习能贴近学生的生活。图片展示非常直观，在此环节让学生自然而然地学习一些生词及重要的表达：如ancient building，

landmark（标志性建筑），symbol （象征），be famous for 因为…而出名）对学生进行有效的输入。为学生的进一步学习提供了有效帮助，排除生词的障碍。）

二． While-reading（读中）

Step1: show students five pictures( five naughty boys—five most popular places) Step2: ask students to help and find out their homes (帮忙找到他们的家)—ask students to stick the cards on the screen. （设计意图：为了激发学生的学习兴趣，给学生一个阅读的动机。这部分把填表的形式活用，把五个城市的著名景点变成“五个淘气的孩子”，让学生为这“五个淘气的孩子”找到他们的家。学生读课文后，拿着卡片去找家，即增加了学生亲身体验的学习乐趣，解决了学生不愿阅读的问题，给了学生阅读的动机，也让学生更多的融入到了课堂）

is… It is also famous for…Welcome to Haikou. （设计意图; 读后主要是训练目标语言的输出，检测学生学习的效果。师生先对如何介绍一个城市进行总结。然后让学生介绍海南的著名城市海口。此环节老师充分地为学生搭建了脚手架。让学生学习海口, 三亚，澄迈的著名景点，并给学生提供了一个范文模板。学生在小组活动中，相互帮助，相互学习，共同完成一个任务。最后的Show time 给学生提供了很好的展示的舞台。整个设计环环相扣，从输入到输出，达成了运用语言做事的最终学习目标。）

Learn the reading passage of the other three cities and introduce them to the whole class the next lesson.(presentation and guessing) Example: Paris I am a capital city, which is situated on the River Seine. I am thought as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Many people come here to visit me. The most popular place for travelers is the EiffelTower. It is

regarded as the famous symbol of me. You also can visit the world’s largest art galleries if you come here . They are famous for the collections.

(设计意图：家庭作业主要倡导学生自主探究学习。让学生以已在课堂学习的第一段“巴黎”为例，自主学习另三段文章，了解另三个城市。用guessing 的活动能激发学生参与家庭作业的积极性，增加家庭作业的趣味性，也能让家庭作业自主学习的效果在下一节课上得到很好的检测。另老师提供了例子，让学生清晰的知道如何完成作业，降低了作业的难度，保证了作业的有效性。)
