本文是一篇人物故事。讲述了一个孩子从六岁起致力于帮助非洲缺水地区建立水井，帮助非教材分析

洲缺水地区建立水窖的故事，有很强的教育意义。

本文共有六个段落，详述了男孩Ryan从事志愿者服务的起因、经过和影响。文章内容积极向上，启示性强，对当代高中生有很强的教育意义和指导作用。

授课对象为本溪市第四高中高二理科班学生。由于不是本人自己学生，所以缺乏相应的了解。学情分析

通过简单接触，掌握了一些学生基本的英语学习情况。该班学生整体外向、开朗，个别同学英语能力突出，但是一部分同学在用英语进行表述的过程中还存在一定困难。
