教学内容：Unit 2 Part 1a、1b and 1c 教学目标: 1、能认读词组the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, Big Ben, the British Museum, the White House, the Smithsonian Castle，能根据图片认读短语。

2、能用句型…is the capital of ….介绍中国、英国、美国的首都Beijing, London, Washington DC;能说句型…and…are in…. 3、了解东西南北四个基本方位，并能对照地图简单交流以下类型问答:Where’s Beijing in China？It’s in the north of China. 教学重难点：

1、能认读中国、英国、美国的重要标志物。

2、能用句型介绍中国、英国、美国的首都。

3、能在课堂中运用句型交流城市所处方位

教学准备：词条卡，图片，PPT，点读机等。

教学过程：

Step 1: Greeting and lead in. 1、Hello! Boys and girls. How are today? ... We all live in Wuhan. Do you like Wuhan? Do you know Shanghai? Wuhan is a big city. Shanghai is a big city. They are big cities. Step 2: Presentation and practice. 1、This summer holiday, I went to a city. Look at the pictures ,learn these place words and guess where I went. the Great Wall the Palace Museum Tian’an Men ... Where are they? ... 2、 Where’s Beijing in China? Let’s look at the map. Look here, Guangdong is in the south of China. And we know上北下

Now we know Beijing is in the north of China. And we should know it is the capital of China. Do you know what it means？
