Festivals Part one 一.教学目标
知识与技能目标:
1. 学生能在图片帮助下理解和掌握单词和词组:festival, lunar, important,get together,far from,look up,
think about,turkey, sweet potatoes等. 2. 学生能通过阅读目的在阅读材料中了解和获取关于中秋节和感恩节的相关信息,并比较异同。
3. 能在图片的提示下自已喜爱的节日。
4学生养成对比阅读的习惯。
5.能在表格和关键词的提示下复述文章。
情感目标:
1.
了解中外节日习俗,感受中外节日的异同。
2.
乐于合作,乐于交流,用英语谈论节日。

学生能理解和掌握新单词和词组,会说节日名称,日期和实物名称。

能在图片和句型框架的帮助下流利回答问题。

新课导入
lead in T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, how are you today?
T: I’m fine too. Thank you, let’s have fun in class.
T: look, who is he?
S: He is Toby. T: Yes, he is our friend Toby. Listen to the chant and tell me when is Toby’s birthday? Ok?
S: It is in December. T: yes, wonderful. Toby’s birthday is in December.

T: Look, what are these? S: moon cakes (点几名同学回答) T: When do we eat moon cakes? (动作) S: Mid-Autumn Festival T: Yes, it is on Mid-Autumn Festival.(学生跟读几遍,板书) T:When is Mid-Autumn Festival? Do you know? When? Raise your hand. T: show the picture, it is on the 15th day of Chinese lunar August. T: Mid-Autumn Festival. We have other festivals. For example, spring Festival, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. They are all festivals. Yes or no. S: yes. T: ok, follow me. Festivals (学生跟读,老师出示课题,板书) T: ok, Let’s have a look. What can you see in the picture? What’s this?
S: moon, moon cakes, families. T: What festival is it? S: Mid-Autumn Festival. T: Yes, Mid-Autumn festival is an important festival in China? YES OR No? S: yes T: ok, follow me, important (老师带读) T: Ok, today, we are going to learn more about Mid-Autumn Festival. Open your book, turn to page__, listen to the passage.
S: 学生听录音。
