知识与技能目标：

1. 学生能在图片帮助下理解和掌握单词和词组：festival, lunar, important，get together，far from，look up，

think about，turkey, sweet potatoes等. 2. 学生能通过阅读目的在阅读材料中了解和获取关于中秋节和感恩节的相关信息，并比较异同。

3. 能在图片的提示下自已喜爱的节日。

4学生养成对比阅读的习惯。

5.能在表格和关键词的提示下复述文章。

新课导入

lead in T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, how are you today?

T: I’m fine too. Thank you, let’s have fun in class.

When? Raise your hand. T: show the picture, it is on the 15th day of Chinese lunar August. T: Mid-Autumn Festival. We have other festivals. For example, spring Festival, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. They are all festivals. Yes or no. S: yes. T: ok, follow me. Festivals (学生跟读，老师出示课题，板书) T: ok, Let’s have a look. What can you see in the picture? What’s this?

S: yes T: ok, follow me, important (老师带读) T: Ok, today, we are going to learn more about Mid-Autumn Festival. Open your book, turn to page__, listen to the passage.

S: 学生听录音。
