Unit 6 In a nature park

第五课时

一、教学目标

1. 能听、说、认读单词“nature”,“park”和“nature park”。

2. 能听懂、会说句子“Are there any …?”,“Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.”进行问答练习。

3. 能完成“Let’s try”部分的听力任务。

4. 培养学生团结合作的精神和积极学习英语的态度。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up

1. Sing a song.At a nature park

2. Oral practice

复习There is / are …和Is there …句型。

教师出示更多的自然公园图画,进行类似的对话练习。

3. 游戏---- 互通有无

同桌合作,用句型“Is / Are there … in your city / village?”进行问答练习。

Step 2 Presentation

B. Let’s talk

1. 教学新单词

教师用多媒体课件出示自然公园的图片,引出词组“nature park”。

2. Let’s try 完成Let’s try 部分的Listen and circle活动。

3. 教师播放本部分的教学录音,问:“Where do Miss White and her students go?”学生根据录音内容回答:“They go to the forest.”。

4. 介绍对话情景

T: There is a nature park in the forest. Now Miss White and Zhang Peng are at the nature park. What are they talking about? Let’s listen to the tape and see.

让学生根据记忆,向老师提问,教师要引导学生说:Are there any … in your village?

听录音,跟读Let’s talk部分内容。纠正语音语调,注意any的发音。

再次播放录音,学生听完录音后判断下面句子正误:

① The nature park is not quiet.

② The re aren’t many people in the nature park.

③ There are some tall buildings in the nature park.

④There aren’t any animals in the nature park.

给学生2—3分钟,自己读书。

同桌之间进行对话练习,然后选几组在班上说一说。

5. Let’s play ---- Tick a picture and find your “friend”.

(1)找两对学生站起来读一读本部分的两段对话。

(2)学生根据对话内容选择相应的图片,师生一起核对答案。

Step 3 Let’s practice

1. 轻松一刻----Sing a song

教师播放任意一首歌曲,提示学生刚才的活动到此结束,同时可以轻松一下课堂气氛。

Step 4 Consolidation and extension(巩固与扩展)

1. 练一练

让学生做课堂作业本单元Let’s talk部分的配套练习。

2. 游戏----让硬币来回答

教师拿出一枚硬币,与同学一起确定一面为正,一面为反,同时将学生分为正负两大组。提问:Are there any rivers in your village? 并转动硬币,硬币停止在正面,2组学生一起回答: Yes, there are.正组得分。反之,2组学生一起回答:No, there aren’t. 负组得分。教师示范几次后,让学生拿出各自的硬币,同桌一组做游戏。

3. Let students imagine their favourite village / city / town. 老师拿出自己事先设计好的“我心中最美的乡村或城市”图开始描述,然后教师发给学生未画好的城市和乡村图让他们完成,并进行小组讨论。
