3.学习以辅音音素结尾的名词,变为复数时加s,读/z/

4.学唱歌曲:Rain, Rain, Go Away.

5.功能:询问不同地区的天气情况。

语言技能目标

1.能认读并正确书写单词snow,cold,rain,warm.

2能用英语询问各地的天气情况。

情感态度:

通过学习,培养学生良好的人际交往与合作的能力,学会关注天气,合理着装。

文化意识

了解西方国家人们的交往习惯。

教学过程:

Step 1 warming-up

1.Greeting

2.Enjoy a song: Rain, Rain, Go Away

3. Teach the word weather according to the weather

4.Show the topic: Unit 6 Weather Part A

Step2 Revision

1.Review the words about clothes: T-shirt, shirt, skirt, sweater, hat, jacket.

2.Free talk: what do you wear? I wear a T-shirt….

Step3 Presentation

1. Learn the new word : coat

T shows pictures of Sally and her father, let Ss talk about what they wear.

2.Lern the new words and sentence:

snow, cold , rain, warm, but

How is the weather?

1)T shows questions before watch the video.

Q1: Where is Sally’s father? How is the weather there?

Q2: Where is Sally? Why is she wearing a sweater?

2) Watch the video for the first time and find out the answers.

A1: In Beijing. It’s snowing. It’s very cold.

A2: In Fuzhou. It’s raining, but it’s warm.

3. Listen and follow

Read together, T & Ss role play, Ss &Ss

4.Exercise:

P44 Ask and answer.

文化渗透:西方国家,特别是英国,由于天气的特殊性,人们常常见面就谈论天气,以打破彼此间的沉默。

5.Phonetic learning

1.T writes down the words: girl, dog, pen, apple, asking Ss to read by themselves .

2. Listen and read the words.

3.Choose the same sound.

Step 4 Extension

1.Look and say

T shows some pictures of different cities which are in typical weather. Ask Ss work in pairs to observe the pictures and say something about them.

2.Learn to sing a song: Rain, Rain, Go Away

Step 5 Homework

1)Listen and recite the text.

2)Finish the exercises in Activity Book.

3)Listen to the weather report ,and write down the information ,then share in the next class.
