Teaching aims:

1.The students will be able to listen, speak, read and write the words: Monday, Tuesday; and the sentences: When do you have PE lessons? We have PE lessons on Monday and Tuesday.

2.The students will get to know the knowledge and skills through group activities and games.

3.The students will learn to love sports.

Teaching Process

Step 1. Warming up

1.Let’s chant together.

2.I have a massage on my phone. Let’s have a look. It’s from Gao Wei.

Step 2. Presentation

1.Today Gao Wei comes to our school, he wants to know something about your timetable. He says: Give me a quick answer, please.

2.Through the questions to lead in two new words: Monday and Tuesday.

3.Gao Wei likes sports, so he comes to a PE class. Let’s listen what are they talking about.

Step 3. Practice

1.Listen to the dialogue and repeat it.

2.Let’s play football with Gao Wei.

3.Work in pairs to do ask and answer.

Step 4. Extension

Make a new timetable with your partners.

Homework:

Must do: Finish the exercise in Lesson 20.

Choose to do: Continue to make a new timetable with your partners and talk about it.
