Teaching aims:

1.能听说认读单词breakfast, tea;了解词组:have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner, have a tea party; 能认读句子:Will we have breakfast/lunch/ dinner at..? Yes, we will. /No, we won’t.

2.能用句子Will ... have ...? Yes, ...will./No, ...won’t.谈论将来的活动。

3.能积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流;在学习和日常交际中,能初步注意到中外文化异同。

一般将来时态的一般疑问句的使用及回答:Will we...at...? Yes, we will./ No, we won’t.

breakfast及tea中ea发音的区别;重点句型的运用

Step I Warm up

1.Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls. Today we’ll have a competition among your 12 groups. Let’s see which group will be the best.

(设计意图:课堂采用小组竞赛制,提高学生的积极性,培养小组合作精神。) 2.Let’s chant. Review Module 3 Unit 1.(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,复习上一单元内容,为新课呈现做准备。)

Step II Presentation and practice

1.Learn Activity 1 in Page 17.

(1). (PPT)T: Look, who’s he? Ss: He’s Bob.

T: Who is she? Ss: She’s bob’s mum.

T: We know bob will go to the zoo. And his mum is making breakfast for him. Do you know breakfast?

Learn the word “breakfast”(read the words with ea: head, dead, read, bread). Practise “breakfast” two by two, then write the words.

(设计意图:由“Bob将去动物园,Bob的妈妈为他准备早餐”引出breakfast 早餐一词,并进行ea的语音训练,让学生更容易感知breakfast的发音。) (2). Chant: breakfast, breakfast, have breakfast, we will have breakfast.

(3). T: We will have breakfast in the morning. Will Bob have breakfast? Let’s listen and choose.

2. Present and practise the sentence pattern: Will we ... at...? Yes, we will. No, we won’t. We’ll ... at...

(1).Present the topic today.

T: Will we have breakfast at 1?

S: No, we won’t. We will have lunch at 1.(T instructs Ss to answer)

T: Will we have breakfast at 7 in the evening?

S: No, we won’t. We will have dinner at 7. (T instructs Ss to answer)

T: So we will have breakfast, lunch, dinner every day. They are the 3 meals. When will we have them? We have to plan the time. So today’s topic is about the plan. Will we have breakfast at 7?

(2). Work in pairs. Ask and answer:

Will we ... at...?

Yes, we will.

(1)Listen and answer: Will Sam and Ms Smart have breakfast/ lunch/ dinner/ tea party?

(2) Learn “tea party” (Pay attention to the sound of ea; read: eat, meat, meal, tea) (设计意图:感知tea的发音,特别强调ea的发音,并与之前学过的breakfast 中ea进行对比,了解ea的两种发音区别。)

1.Role play: Choose a picture you like to act.

2.Group work: Plan for the spring outing:

T: How do you think of their plans for meals?

Ss: Very good.

T: Yes, it’s very reasonable. I think plans make our life more orderly, interesting, and colorful.

2. Try to make a weekend plan.
