Multifunctional classroom Teaching Procedures Step1 Lead in Show students some pictures and let students answer the teacher’s questions so as to review the present continuous tense and the present perfect tense. Step2 Tense studying Lead students to learn the present perfect continuous tense and master the definition, form, usage and characteristics of the present perfect continuous tense. 1) 现在完成进行时：表示动作从过去某一时间开始，一直延续到现在，可能还要继续下去。

eg. I started teaching English in 2008. I am still teaching English now. And I will go on. →

I have been teaching English for 10 years. 2) 构成形式

肯定：have\has been doing 否定：have\has not been doing 一般疑问：Have\Has +Subject + been doing…? 3) 用法：

(1)强调某一动作从过去开始，一直继续到现在仍在继续之中。经常与for, since, all morning/day/week用在一起。

eg. You have been studying (study) for four straight hours. Why don’t you take a break? (2)从过去某时开始一直继续到现在，但不再继续下去的事情。－－带有浓厚的感情色彩，或强调持续了“那么久”或做得“那么辛苦”等。

eg. Oh, you have come at last! I have been waiting for (wait for) you for two hours.

(我等了你足足两个小时)

Who has been telling (tell) you such nonsense!

（谁告诉你这个消息的！）（气愤）

(3)叙述从过去某时到现在，反复发生的事情。(表重复，而非一直不停)－－经常与lately, recently用在一起

。

eg. The weather has been changeable lately; I’ve been having a lot of colds.

（最近天气变化无常, 我时常感冒。）

注意：有些表状态、感情、感觉的动词如：have、exist、like、hate、hear、know等不能用于现在完成进行时，但可用于现在完成时。

对比：1.They have known each other since 1970.

（right）

2.They have been knowing each other since 1970. （wrong）

Step3. Practice According to the pictures, fill in the blanks of each sentence.

The teacher asks some students to answer. Step4. Translation and group discussion. Please translate the sentences into Chinese and then discuss your answers with your classmates.

Answers: 1. They have been working for two hours. 2. He has been running since 6 o’clock .

3. It has been raining this week. 4. Lily hasn’t been taking a rest all day. 5. Have you been doing your homework since this morning? 6. Although these scientists have been working on the project for nearly four years, I don't know how long it will last. 7. The little boy is dirty from head to foot because he has been playing in the mud all morning. Step5. Writing Write a small composition about your own life or your hobby, including one or two sentences using the present perfect continuous tense. Step6. Make a guess Let students read the words and guess who they. And the teacher leads students to love themselves and their friends. Most importantly, love our parents, because they have been doing so much for us. Step7. Homework 1. Finish the exercises on the printed papers. 2. Find the similarities and differences between the present perfect tense and present perfect continuous tense.
