Teaching procedures: Step 1 Greetings Greet the whole class as usual.

Step 2 Warming up 1. Ask the following questions: 1) Do you like watching films? 2) Have you ever seen these films? 2. Show students some film posters. 3. Introduce the films are 2D films. 4. Show students a short video and introduce 3D films. 5. Use more posters to introduce 3D films.

Step3 Fast Reading 1. Ask student to read the first paragraph and find what product this passage introduces to us? 2. Help students to find the answer. (Realcine) 3. Raise another question for students to think about: What does this passage want to tell us about the product? 3. Invite a student to anwer the question: 1) How does RealCine work? 2) Why is it better than a film? 3) How can it be used in other ways? 4. Play the tape for students to listen to the text and ask them to find out in which paragraphs they can find the information mentioned above.(C2) Information In which paragraph(s) How does RealCine work? Step 4 Careful Reading 1. Ask students to read para. 2 once again and find the anwers to the following two questions: 1) What technology is behind this product? 2) How many of the user’s senses does this product connect with?

2. Ask two students to share their answers. 1) Virtual Reality. 2) 4, sight, hearing, smell and touch. 3. Present: RealCine makes users feel that they are really in a new world. 4. Ask students to read Para. 3 and complete the next question: All the following are the ways RealCine works except ________. A. Special VR headsets are designed to allow the users to see in 3-D and hear the sound all around them. B. Three computers must be connected together. C. The users also wear special gloves. D.
