Step 3 Sentence patterns 1.

We are so used to them that we often do not even realize how many we see and hear in a day. (line 1-2) [用法分析]

句中so ... that ...，意为“________________”，that引导_____状语从句。常用结构为：

so＋adj./adv.＋that ...so＋adj.＋a/an＋可数名词单数＋that ...

so＋many/few＋可数名词复数＋that ...so＋much/little少＋不可数名词＋that ...[完成句子] ①Tom is___________________ he has little time for his friends.

such ... that ...“如此……以至于……”，常用结构为：

名师点津：“so/such＋修饰词”位于句首时，主句要用部分倒装。
