Module 4 Music Born in Hong Kong Teaching aims: 1. Master the new words in the module. 2. Know about the types of Hong Kong music. Teaching important points: Master all the main language points in the introduction of the types of Hong Kong music . Teaching difficult points: Help the students improve their reading abilities. Teaching methods: Read, Practice and Explain Teaching process: Step 1 Leading-in Show the students a few pictures.Make them guess the famous stars in the pictures and then begin this lesson. Step 2 Learning New words and expressions in the module : 1. Ask the students to read the new words by themselves for a few minutes and guess the correct pronunciation. 2. Ask a few students to read the new words for the others to hear. 3. Correct the students’ mistakes in reading

4. Read the new words and expressions for students to follow. Step 3 Extension 1.Explain the types of Hong Kong music. 2. Show the students a few pictures and ask the students to answer some questions. 3. Ask a few students to tell us the names of some types of Hong Kong music. 4. Ask the students to read the types of Hong Kong music and finish the matching Ex. Step 4 Practice Read the passage then finish the following exercises.
