Teaching Aims:

(1)Learn 6 phrases and two sentences

(2)Master when and how to ask others “What time do you …?” ,then answer it.

(3)Remember to save the time themselevs , to get up and go to bed earlier.

Teaching Key points:

Learn 6 phrases and two sentences. Master when and how to ask others “What time do you …?” ,then answer it.

Teaching difficultis:

(1)Pay attention to the pronounce of the word “thirty” and “get up”

(2)Know when and how to change “my” into “your/his/ her….”

(3)Remember to use “at” before the time.

Teaching Aids: cards, pictures, box, clocks ……

Teaching steps:

1. greeting

2. Warming up:

(1) to review the numbers ( 1,2,3,4,5 ……)

(2) to review the time ( 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 ……)

(3) to show other time ( 7:00, 7:10, 3:15……) and practice with the sentence “What time is it?”

3. Presentation:

(1) to present the phrase “ get up” by showing a clock.

(2) to present the phrase “ go to school” by doing the action.

(3) to present the phrase “ get home” by showing a key.

(4) to present the phrase “ eat dinner” by doing the action.

(5) to present the phrase “do my homework” by showing the exercise books.

(6) to prewent the phrase “go to bed” by showing a song.

(2) to do the dictation exercise

(3) to play another game

5. Prodution

(1) to fill the time table for “Xi Yangyang” and his friends.

(2) to make the short dialogue with the time table.
