1.Warm-up

(1)Greeting

(2)头脑风暴:将学生分为两组,出示图片,T: Give me a quick question and answer!一组提问:How many ... are there ...? 另一组回答:There are ...

2.Presentation

(1)继续之前的问答,图片出示日历,问答的同时带领学生认读calendar

(2)展示calendar实物,T: How many calendars are there? S: There are two. T: Do you like them? S: Yes, I do.

(3)T: Look at the calendar. Look here! What’s the meaning of Sun? 找同学上前来为sun加字母组成单词:sunny 、Sunday,同时讲解Sunday,造句:Today is Sunday. I like Sunday. 最后用sunny和Sunday组成句子,并模仿。

(4)将Sunday分成sun和day,讲解day,让同学介绍sunday这个词的来历。

(5)T:How many days are there in a week? How many days are there in a month? (用手比,便于学生理解) How many weeks are there in a month? (give me a quick answer,最先回答的以日历为奖励)

(6)What’s the first day of the week? 找同学介绍周日为什么是一周的开始So, Sunday is the first day of the week.

(7)Let’chant: Sunday is the first day of the week.
