3、使学生进一步理解功能句型的具体使用情境。

在本课的教学过程中,鼓励孩子敢于开口说英语,使孩子树立英语学习的信心。

教学重点:巩固句型:What’s this?/ What’s that/

Is it a/an …?

Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.

教学难点:使学生们进一步理解功能句型的具体使用情境。

教学方法:多媒体教学法、小组合作法

教学过程:

1、Warm-up

1、Go over the vocabulary by the flashcards. Hold up each of the flashcard in turn. Ask children,“

Is it a/an …?”Elicit, “Yes, it is.”

“No, it isn’t.”

2、Hold up the flashcards in turn. Ask, “What’s this?”

Elicit, “It’s a/an …”

3、Then ask some students to come to front and choose one picture. This time, I’ll ask, “What’s that? Is it a/an …?”

And I’ll give the wrong name for some of the fruit. Elicit, “

No, it isn’t. It’s a …”

or “

Yes, it is.”

2、Presentation

1、Ask students to look at the picture at first.

T: Who are in the picture?

T: Where are they?

T: What’s on the table?

T: What are they saying? Now let’s listen to the dialogue.

2、Then I’ll give them some questions and ask them to answer.

3、Encourage children to look at the cartoon and repeat with it.

4、Then I’ll show them a gift, and ask them to guess by using the key sentences.

3、Listen and number

1、First, I’ll ask them to look at picture:

T: What’s this?

2、Then listen to it only for one time.

3、Then check the answer.

Ask students to listen to some stories.They practice the sentence style.

They practice another sentence style.

One student come to front and choose one picture.

Others try to answer my question.

S: Peter and Ann.

S: Maybe they are at home.

S: There’s a gift on the table.

They listen to the dialogue.

They try to answer my questions.

They read after the tape.

They guess what’s in the gift.

4、Extending listening

S: It’s a/an …

They listen to it.

Check the answer.

They listen to the stories.
