教材分析和学情分析

人教版小学英语教材五年级上册第四单元Part C Story Time《A silly snake and a smart rat》。这个单元学生已学习重点句型:What can you do? I can…和Can you…? Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.因此，语篇教学-故事课主要是学生通过掌握的语言知识理解故事,进行有感情的朗读和角色表演。通过理解、朗读、表演等多种方式提高学生的综合语言运用能力

通过Pre-reading, While-reading 和Post-reading三个环节带领学生在情境下理解故事、有感情的朗读并表演故事。Pre-reading环节，我通过sharp eyes的游戏，带领学生复习动物单词，进而引出今天故事中的主人公蛇“Snake”。While-reading环节，我先让孩子们带着任务整体感知故事；然后通过分段精读，带领学生一边解决问题，一边模仿朗读，体会Snake和Rat的情感，从而学习和理解故事；

Post-reading环节，通过学生角色扮演表演故事，激发学生对故事学习的热情，为以后的故事学习打下基础。

Snake: I’m hungry. Mmm… Here comes my tasty food. Now I can eat. Rat: Dear snake, wait a minute. I can do things for you. Snake: Oh! What can you do? Can you sing? Rat: Yes, I can. Snake: Can you dance? Rat: Yes, I can. Let me go. Then I can dance for you. Snake: OK. Let me see. There’s a lake near here. Can you swim? Rat: No! Don’t throw me into the lake, please! Rat: Haha! Silly snake! Now I can swim away. Bye! 1.能听说读写silly、lake 、throw…into等单词、词组和运用句型：Can you…? Yes,I can./No,I can’t. 2.在理解故事的基础上能用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

3.通过表演故事激发学生对英语学习的兴趣。

4.培养学生的故事阅读能力。
