【教学目标】

一、教学目标:

1. 语言知识目标

1) 运用词汇:表示星期的单词,以及free, cool, A.M., P.M. 2)运用句型询问喜欢的学科并给出理由:What's sb's favorite subject?

Why does he/she like it? 3)描述性形容词的巩固运用

能用what, why 等wh-疑问句型结合描述性形容词询问并陈述喜欢某事的原因

3. 情感态度价值观目标:

了解中西方中学学制和学科设置的知识,了解星期的小常识

活动1d要求学生在前面听力的基础上互动交流,对听力材料进行再次挖掘,该活动要求学生就David最喜欢的学科,喜欢的原因以及上课的时间等信息进行综合运用。

Teaching procedures Step 1

Preparation (3min)

1. What’s the picture about? It is about the days of a week. How many days are there in a week? Seven. What day is it today? It is ... At first let's learn the seven days of a week.

设计意图:让学生回忆一周的每一天英语单词写法,为关于周课表的听力内容打下基础

Step 2 Presentation& Practice Presentation 1 (3min)

Learn new words by chanting..

Show the chant to the students, and lead students to learn the new words: Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday . 设计意图:

这个活动能很好地活跃气氛,引起他们对“chant ”单词的兴趣

Brainstorm (5min)

We have math at 8:05 A.M. on Monday.We have art at 3:00 P.M on Tuesday.We are very busy from Monday to Friday. But we are free on Saturday and Sunday. 设计意图:

这个活动利用头脑风暴的活动,建立关于科目的思维导图,将科目与星期对应进行有效的回顾。

Learn and Practice description words(5min)

Ask students the question: What's your favorite food/ subject/ .? Why? Why not?

Learn the descriptions words by showing them some vivid pictures. Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free.

设计意图:

该活动通过图片来对应描述性的形容词,利用了直观的词汇教学方法,在该活动中还通过喜闻乐见的海绵宝宝动画图像来提高学生学习新词汇“cool”的兴趣。

Practice 1(4min)

Finish Section B 1a and 1b. 设计意图:

将教授的内容科目与形容词相结合,放在典型句型中,将词汇与句型进行有机结合,提高学生英语语言运用能力。

Presentation 2

practice 1 and listening practice 2(5min)

Ask Ss finish 1c and ask questions about the schedule in1c:What classes does David have on Monday?

What classes does David have on the morning of Tuesday? ... These questions can help students get familiar with the schedule.

设计意图:

该活动通过听力训练复现,强化了之前学过的有关时间,星期的词汇,活动1d要求学生在前面听力活动的基础上互动交流,也是对听力材料的再次挖掘,该活动要求学生就David最喜欢的学科,喜欢的原因以及上课时间等信息进行问答。

Step 3 Production(10min)

Just now we listened to a conversation about David. Fill in the blanks in 1d and practice the dialogue with your partner.

Group work: Interview your group mates and report it to your class.
