Step 1 Warm-up

T: Look at these pictures. Do you know what holiday is it?

Ss: It’s Children’s Day.

T: Yes, it is. And w e know, Children’s Day is coming soon. What are you going to do on that day?

S1: I’m going to buy some food.

S2: I’m going to have a big dinner with my family.

T: Good. Look! This is a clown. (Teach “clown”)

本单元围绕“举办聚会“这一话题,把有关一般将来时的日常交际用语词汇和语言结构有机结合起来。重点学习句型“What are you going to …?”“I am going to …”“Are you going to …?”“Yes, I am./we are.”“No, I am not/we are not.”等将来时的表达方式。

在本课时中,学生初步了解一般将来时的表达方式,能掌握基本的运用,并且要学习几个相关的新单词。有些单词之前接触过,因此在设计教案中,在单词上花的时间相对不是太多。重点是对句型的表达。在整节课时中,以学生为主体,让他们积极地参与到课堂活动中,围绕整个教学的中心和任务展开。最后让学生尝试自行用所学句型表演对话,达到巩固的目的。同时也激发了孩子们的学习兴趣,活跃了课堂氛围。
