Teaching aims: 1.Let the students grasp the use of subjunctive Mood in adverbial clause of condition and subject clause

2. Arouse the students’ interest in learning this grammar. 3. Make them realize the importance of learning the subjunctive mood. Teaching important and difficult points:

Get the students to learn to use the subjunctive and its rules. How to let them use what they have learned to do the exercises correctly. Teaching methods:individual, group work, discussion, games etc.

Teaching procedures: Step 1 lead-in

Let the students appreciate an English song If I were a boy, in which several sentences are given to the students to complete, using subjunctive mood.
