Lesson13 How Old Are You?
一、
教学目标:
(一)语言知识:
1.学生能够通过自然拼读等活动听懂、会说、认读并书写词汇:
birthday 2、学生能通过pair work认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构:
How old are you? I’m… years old. When is your birthday? My birthday is…
3、学生能够正确表述自己及朋友年龄和生日的信息。
(二)能力目标:运用本节课所学知识询问有关年龄的信息。
(三)情感态度:通过交际化语言的学习,进一步激发学生学习英语的热情。
二、教学重难点:
学生能够听、说句型How old are you?
I’m… years old.获得有关年龄的信息并能够用英语正确表达。
三、教学用具:Multimedia CD, Pictures 四、教学流程:
Step1. Class opening 1.
Greeting. 2.
Let’s play a guessing game.
遮挡数字的一部分让学生猜,小组比赛。
(复习数字,打开学生思维,调动学生积极性,为新授做准备)

说出这些基数词的序数词。
(复习序数词的表达,为表达生日的日期做铺垫。)

Ask some students. Pair work :Ask and answer. (学生小组合作完成问答,在练习使用新知的同时,体验互助学习的乐趣。)
5.分组展示,小组评价。
(给学生使用语言的机会。利用评价调动学生积极参与到课堂中,展示自己。)
6. Listen and answer. ①How old is Danny? When is his birthday? ②How old is Steven? When is his birthday? (带着问题挺录音,感知文本。让学生有目的的听,提高听力技巧。)
③Read the text in role. (分角色朗读课文,加深对文本的理解。)
Step3 Practice
1. Group work: Make a survey. Ask and answer, then write.
Choose one student to report: …is…years old. His /Her birthday is…
(小组合作完成调查,降低了难度,让学生们都能参与其中。既提高课堂活动的参与度,又可以培养学生合作精神。)

Say some sentences about your friend.(age, birthday, ,food, color, like to do…) (联系所学知识,对朋友进行一个介绍。整体输出一段话,是对学生英语表达能力的一个提高。)
Step4. Home work ①Read the text. ②Write some sentences about your friends’ age. (学生可以根据自身情况选择,不同能力的学生都能有所提高。)
