教学材料出自新教材PEP英语(2013版)五年级上册Unit4 Story time（P45），本单元的主题是My ability。该板块呈现了田鼠如何机智摆脱被蛇吃掉的故事，在紧张的情节发展中复习巩固本单元核心词汇和句型。

说明

采用任务型的教学理念来设计本课。首先让学生带着问题去倾听故事，并用悬念导入故事，适当地让学生参与故事情节的推进。然后通过师生合作阅读的方式，让学生参与其中。最后通过学生合作学习，引发思维碰撞。

Snake: I’m hungry. Mmm… Here comes my tasty food. Now I can eat. Rat: Dear snake, wait a minute. I can do things for you. Snake: Oh! What can you do? Can you sing? Rat: Yes, I can. Snake: Can you dance? Rat: Yes, I can. Let me go. Then I can dance for you. Snake: Let me see. There is a lake near here. Can you swim? Rat: No! Don’t throw me into the lake, please! Rat: Haha! Silly snake! Now I can swim away. Bye! 1．知识目标：

（1）学生能理解故事内容，并能较流利地朗读故事。

（2）学生能听懂并会用“I can do things for you. I can …for you!”，巩固句型“ What can you do ? I can….Can you…? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.”

能在图片帮助下理解故事内容，并能较流利的朗读故事。

通过“头脑风暴”激发学生的发散思维，为后面学生的输出做铺垫。

教师通过一边讲述一边画简笔画的方式把孩子们引入到故事中

教师用直观形象略带夸张的动作讲述故事，适当地让孩子们参与故事情节的推进，通过师生合作阅读的方式，尝试让孩子参与其中，并且通过朗读指导，培养学生按意群阅读的好习惯。

通过学生单人朗读或小组合作操练核心句型。

让学生在班级内交流开放式的问题，在训练学生“说”的同时充分表达了学生的个人观点。

通过写Story Review再次回顾故事，让孩子们有所思有所得。

该作业具有操作性与监测性。即复习了本课的语言点，又是课堂向课外的延伸。
